You will find as you get older, you do less makeup than someone Allie’s age. Too much makeup on someone older doesn’t look good, it makes you look like you’re trying too hard. I’m 57 & fair skinned & don’t use a bronzer & wouldn’t use it unless I was already tanned. You want to look natural not overly made up, right? Also a good rule of thumb is, If you play up your eyes, go pale with the lips & vice versa.

I mix all of my foundations with darkening drops, because I usually get shades too pale for my (light-)tan skin. Yet the best ones I find them to be the medium deep or deepest deep shades on the NYX Can't Stop won't stop foundation.

That EL Double Wear is the ultimate in full flawless coverage. I never have to be stressed about 'what will I do if something special comes up? Some really nice event!) And yes! For the Nars concealer; it's bangin' .
For me, I feel the MOST confident with a light layer of Born The way foundation A little tiny but of setting powder on my cheeks Sweet tea bronzer by too faced (the undertone of it is unreal) A little blush And a good highlight that is bright but not glittery. Lorac makes an amazing highlight! Then curled lashes with a good mascara and a little eyebrow gel I do not add enough makeup to cover my entire complexion, but more to even it out because I have red cheeks and like to cover them up! A good natural/light makeup look is my favorite because I have such dry skin, that a med/full coverage makeup look looks DISGUSTING on me.

The Estée Lauder double wear and Infallible are my regular go to combination.. It never fails! Double wear lasts all day but is slightly heavy.. infallible is a bit dewy so it’s the perfect combo..

Yes.... ND Glam is my favorite palette at the moment, too. Her formula is just so lovely. I use her bronze palette, too. The Glam palette is just easier. I can just throw a couple shades on my eyes and done.

Omg that cream contour looks SOO good! I actually went into Sephora to “swatch”(the Sephora worker cleaned the bronzer, used a mini sponge thing, and then put it on the back of my hand) the other day, but even the lightest contour shade was to orange on my pale pale pale pale cool toned skin 😭
Allie, have you tried Physicians Formula & Weylie Hoang face pallet? The higlighters in that pallet are the best. They have the best texture: so buttery, creamy but they are at the same time powder highlighters, pigmentation is lit and finish is not glittery but like so diffused to the skin I can’t really explain it. Literally those are the best highlighters I’ve ever tried.
