I also just want to say thank you for getting on camera anyway even when you are experiencing a “bad skin day,” peeling, etc. I say that because often times I find a lot of people I watch seem to have very normal-dry skin. That said, it’s hard to learn techniques to address certain skin issues with makeup when it’s not talked about as much on TH-cam! So I just really really appreciate you for that. For instance, something from Becca that isn't a highlighter, or something from wet n wild that isn't a foundation or concealer!
I really over did it on benzoyl peroxide and I ended up with red, irritated and flaky skin on both chins and the cheek. I ended up ordering the weleda skin food cream, and after just two days of use my skin was looking so much better and 4 days later my skin was back to normal
I totally agree with the lipstick, it's a gorgeous formula and that colour it's great for formal events, it never lets you down when you eat or drink. You look absolutely beautiful, don't worry about your textured skin, it's healthy and glowy and that's what matters

I use my hourglass powders for a finishing/buffing step last to melt everything together! It makes ur skin look flawless its a step im so glad I found. I also use my guerlain meteorites in medium and my Chantecaille hummingbird blurring powder that way!

My favorite primer definitely is the Hollywood flawless filter. I wear it with the Estée Lauder futurist foundation which lets the glow show through so much. Pair it with a lightweight powder and set with the glow recipe setting spray for a holy grail glowy look!

I love the Too Faced Born This Way Powder Foundation. It is so good. Great coverage and not too cakey on an over 40s skin. I would love to know what you think of the No7 Lift and Luminate pressed powder as Jessica Braun is loving it and people are calling it a dupe for the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter powder. The Maybelline mascara is one I have worn for years and I am now trying out new mascara for fun, although still not found anything as good.
I used the Tati Beauty all over my face. As blush, bronzer, contour, highlighter, eyebrows, on hairline. I did a video of that. It was awesome. You should try that! Sooo fun!

I actually prefer the texture of the No. 7. It gives me the lovely skin blue without the powder fluffing away all over the place. The CT is so finely packed that I hit pan incredibly fast.
Please try the Brooklyn and Bailey Lash Next Door mascara! I love how long and voluminous it makes my lashes. Also, I love the focus you have when doing makeup, like you got your eye on the result. Love you ❤️
I would also like to know about holding curl, which my lashes hate to do. I tried Maybelline Lash Sensational and L'Oreal Lash Paradise, but they were a little too chunky for me, so I've been using Essence Volume Stylist Curl and Hold, which is great, but like I said, my lashes are stubborn, so I'm willing to try something new next, haha.

I just bought some drugstore makeup at Ulta yesterday. It was fun just finding affordable faves and new things. I might gift Mom a Nyx mega palette for her b-day-not sure. ALSO thanks for introducing me to tubing mascara! It’s AWESOME! FYI, L’Oréal has a tubing mascara called Double Extend and come with its own primer-which I DEFINITELY recommend you use with it. As a drawback, there’s not as much of either product as a regular size tube or either one. The Lash Paradise Primer is my current go-to.

I just found a new HG drugstore mascara. It was recommended by Mel Thompson, who normally recommends mostly high end. It layers without clumping, dosen’t smear and is a drier formula. It’s Covergirls’s Exibitionist mascara. I LOVE it and it’s about 9$.

Another great drugstore foundation is the L'Oreal infallible 24 hour foundation I get complimented so much on it. and a great moisturizer is the ceraVe if you have dry skin -- I used to, but now its so glowy and healthy from ceraVe

It amazes me how mascara is either a love/hate. I hate wet mascaras (like the L’Oréal, because I make the biggest mess every time with that one, just like Alli did). But I have friends who hate the dry formulas, which I love

I just got the Too Faced concealer in a Boxycharm. I love it. I had been struggling to find a concealer that works for me. It blends and covers, wear well. I wouldn't have thought to try that on my own.

I used the hourglass finishing powders all over my face for my engagement pictures and it translated as so beautifully glowy in the finished pictures!

Gorgeous look! Maybelline Superstay Matte Ink is hands down my favorite lipstick. I have all the reds, pinks and berry shades. I have 3 tubes of the shade Pioneer, just because I don’t ever want to run out of it! 😝 Also, Milani’s Luminoso is a staple for me!

Try this trick on Glossier brow pen. Instead of applying from down to up, try it in reverse. Guess starting the opposite way is a less heavy hand.

I just found a new HG drugstore mascara. It was recommended by Mel Thompson, who normally recommends mostly high end. It layers without clumping, dosen’t smear and is a drier formula. It’s Covergirls’s Exibitionist mascara. I LOVE it and it’s about 9$.
