  • 4 Months after I brought my Texas Pride roll off trailer. Here’s what I think. Their warranty guys are great, I hate that I am on a first name base with them. Their parts guys are great when i need replacement parts they are fast. I hate that I need to talk to them so much. Dumpster rentals, roll off rentals, and other parts of the business I never anticipated #dumpster #rolloff #dumpsterrental

    I'm glad I went with a local roll-off truck builder that also makes roll-off trailers. All these little things are done right

    Get a trailer wire junction box, go to napa and buy a new 7 way plug and 7 wire. Can run the reverse lights through the truck hookup that way. I’d also wire the toggle switches to run off the trailer battery to the light pods in case you want lights without having to have truck in reverse.

    Just reinforce what breaks so you won't have more issues, like you said its rough terrain

    Good video brother …. I have a Texas pride 16ft roll off Dumpster trailer , rated for 22K and went with this set up cuz it had a lot more heavy duty frame and built more tuff and haven’t had any problem yet and I also work in rough conditions , going for 6months of none stop work so hopefully I can get a few years out of it

      I would definitely agree out of all the set ups I have looked at Texas Pride trailers are built tough/heavy duty more so than anyone else. But it's all the little things all the finishing touches they truly fail at

    How long have you had this trailer? Before it gave you problems?

      Brakes went out within a week and took me a while to figure out what was happening, I ordered the trailer on August if I remember right and picked it up last week of October (I think). My first job was December 1 and have been running for only about 5 months now. Dec. & Jan. were extremely slow February picked up & the last 2 months I have been swamped

      They are the best. You know. They were too far out on delivery so I bought a maxxd. Great trailer and bins.

    They are not Rolloff trailer company they started doing this when they saw the money they were missing
    I bought a dump trailer from them every happy with it till I over load it many times and bend the axle or one usually so now I’ve got 9 ton axles from 7 ton no problems now

    • @junkitrolloffs
      @junkitrolloffs  ปีที่แล้ว

      You're absolutely right none of the roll off trailer setups are a roll off trailer company they all make trailers flatbeds dump trailers and roll offs and a variety of other things.

    texas pride makes some horrible trailers, their QC is trash, Diamond C, Lamar and MaxxD is where it’s at.

    I have to wonder how much time and money is tied up in warranty repairs versus doing it right the first time.

    Texas Pride is contractor grade. It is not meant for Dumpster Companies.

    • @junkitrolloffs
      @junkitrolloffs  ปีที่แล้ว

      Please tell me more. Do you mean to tell me that these are meant to be rented out by contractors for construction jobs and not for a company to rent out for residential use and construction jobs. You lost me.

    • @christopherroberts5659

      @@junkitrolloffs in my experience they are built low to mid grade in quality. They just are not built for 3-6 pulls a day. I feel like TP roll off trailers are built for a general contractor who runs a can or two a week. Not really meant for heavy or high frequency use. I had mine for 2.5 years and pretty much everything broke at least once. It gets the job done but not built anything like a reeving cylinder truck hoist. At 11 dumpsters we sold and got a truck set up. It's built to work ask day every day. Way over built for what we do versus TP being able to do the job but not without hurting itself. Not to mention the 2 rebuilt transmissions I did while towing it. Cheaper to get into but cost more in the long run.
