What is the over head for starting a business like roll off dumpsters.

On heavy loads you can put your truck in neutral and pull the truck under the dumpster so you don’t rut up the yard. The dumpster will act like an anchor, it works pretty good, easy on the winch. Not criticizing, you might already know about this method? Thanks for posting

They are not Rolloff trailer company they started doing this when they saw the money they were missing I bought a dump trailer from them every happy with it till I over load it many times and bend the axle or one usually so now I’ve got 9 ton axles from 7 ton no problems now

Get a trailer wire junction box, go to napa and buy a new 7 way plug and 7 wire. Can run the reverse lights through the truck hookup that way. I’d also wire the toggle switches to run off the trailer battery to the light pods in case you want lights without having to have truck in reverse.

I have to wonder how much time and money is tied up in warranty repairs versus doing it right the first time.

whenever setting in grass, I always put some 2x6 or whatever scrap I have picked up. What happened to your damage video? Thinking about buying a 26k 16ft standard rail Texas Pride trailer. I believe that one has 8" I beam with 8" u channel all the way to the axles.

After watching this..I would definitely not buy one of those trailers

texas pride makes some horrible trailers, their QC is trash, Diamond C, Lamar and MaxxD is where it’s at.

Cheap international truck will serve well

Just buy a hooklift truck mate. East coat by New York or New Jersey.. get dumpsters from bucks fabricating in Pennsylvania.

Glad to see a new video hope you do more sooner rather than later. What I would have done is called up the recycling center and see if they take books as paper so I didn't have to pay the dump fee And maybe made 20 bucks instead of Paying.

I'm glad I went with a local roll-off truck builder that also makes roll-off trailers. All these little things are done right

To me it's all those things that finishes a trailer.

I have a Texas pride 16ft roll off Dumpster trailer , rated for 22K and went with this set up cuz it had a lot more heavy duty frame and built more tuff and haven’t had any problem yet and I also work in rough conditions , going for 6months of none stop work so hopefully I can get a few years out of it

Just reinforce what breaks so you won't have more issues, like you said its rough terrain

Damn bro, I’m sorry! I can hear the frustration in your voice and throughout the video. Here’s my two cents and piece of advice. Use your frustrations as fuel to move to the next level. Use the trailer as much and as hard as you can until it’s time you can afford to upgrade and get into the hook lifts. It’s night and day bro, the tarps are still shit lol but there is no comparison between roll off trailer and actual roll off truck. Apparently all these trailer companies are trash. I’ve heard great things of Nedlands, but other than them… 🤷🏻‍♂️. I thought TP was good, guess not! Good video though and great feedback.

I got my Texas Pride roll off Trailer with the gas engine option and after 6 sumps my oil pump went out. SMH.

I bought one around the same time you did. I think I picked mine up Oct 18 2021. I’m having most all the same issues you’re having plus hydraulic fluid leaks. I’ve talked to US tarp and they told me they get calls weekly about issues stemming from Texas Pride. I bought Texas Pride because they were willing to build the trailer and containers to industry standard rail sizing. They were about 10k cheaper at the time than ProTainer and Needland. It sucks. It’s a crying shame 35k will get you such a shotty job. Good luck man.

Well I'm more tented to go with Nedland now, the price of a Nedland is cheaper than custom built a TP with reeving, hydraulic jack and winch and standard rails
