Before anyone complains about the results, know that Gensokyo is a Brane World, which is an infinitely complex world bigger than a universe. The Spell card rules were developed because the inhabitants of Gensokyo were afraid of accidentally destroying that world in disputes. That means without using spell cards, the Gensokyo inhabitants are at least infinite universal at their weakest.

I kinda wanted her to end the fight with the Rainbow Brilliance Palm, but finishing with the Roc Fist, right into the mountain was so satisfying, too!🤜🏻💥🗻

What does this have to do with Gaara? Yes, I've heard Naruto fans have gotten a bad name in Death Battle, but I'm asking about the replies from the Touhou fans. Also they shouldn't just assume things about others, that's another mistake.
Meiling is pretty low end as far as power goes in Touhou, besides her martial arts expertise and Qi control she doesn't really have a whole lot going on for her, though there's also her possible relation to *eastern* dragons in some capacity.
Even with that I couldn't see Lee winning even if the fight had research
True that, even if we were to take away their other powers and abilities and compare them at the base level, Meiling already has the advantage of having Youkai-level strength.
Also, her longer lifespan means she had WAY more time to put in her training than Lee could in his human years.
That just beats the point of no research, unless you also wanna explain how Sasori beats Alice.

Yep, if the match wasn’t decided randomly, no way Alice could lose. XD
She could control armies of dolls with all kinds of weapons to cover all close, middle and long range, as well as ones for defending herself. The dolls are also able to shoot magical projectiles (via Alice’s power anyway) and work as remote bombs (take that Deidara!). The dolls could even control other fellow dolls to a certain degree, increasing the range of control ever further. Then there’s the gigantic Goliath Doll just for the extra firepower.
On top of it all is Alice herself who is already a powerful magician from a literal demon world that could fly and turn the surrounding area into Swiss cheese with her many, MANY Danmaku attacks and Spell Cards. And it’s said she usually fights while hiding her true powers, then who knows what else she’s capable of.
Man these Touhou characters are on some other level.
Well check out Reimu's feats in the touhou series.
My only complaint is that they didn't fought while sleeping.
But that is my favorite crossover! great work!!

rock lee seems like such a cool guy, i know his own series shafted him and i feel bad seeing him take Ls elsewhere _(but this is still a good animation, and touhou being given love against well-known hyped-up-fighty franchises like dbz or naruto is nice)_
he just seems like the most likable character, he has such a fun and endearing design, a really cool transformation(s) and he works so hard. i want to see him get a W outside the omm fight in one of these kinds of fights someday
Exactly lol, I love Touhou (as you can tell) but they do have a lot of favoritism and fan armor in these fights, almost makes it pointless to even include them.

A guy absorbed a lot of her energy in order to disintegrate the surface of the planet. Even if you gave Lee unlimited use of the Eighth Gate, he still wouldn’t be able to do anything (not to mention the massive speed gap means he’d never get a hit in anyway).

Lee's big mistake was using Hidden Lotus too early. Guess he forgot how using Hidden Lotus basically cripples him.
And again, Touhou's power scale is so high that it's basically just Ass-Pull no Jutsu on crack.

A very well done animation with good sound design and good pacing. Not the most memorable matchup but I'm sure it's gonna be someone favorite and is gonna make a few people happy. In my opinion, this MU wasn't for me but I'm not gonna kick it for not being super epic or memorable. I'm gonna keep waiting until my most wanted MU happens and blows a lot of people's expectations out of the water. Because if it happens, then I get to say suck it to all of my hater and critics who say that what I like is the most boring and stupid matchup to ever exist when in reality it is one of the most hype things I have ever liked and ever will like.

Youkai that's lived for hundreds of years and constantly deals with a timestopper and reality manipulators of various levels vs. a guy who peaked fighting someone who uses his bones as weapons.

A bunch of people crying about Lee losing. Do you all not realize that they don't do research on these characters? At the bare minimum they would at least research what types of moves they do to animate this stuff.
If you want in-depth analysis for these fights. Then you've got two options.
1. Go watch Death Battle.
2. Do it yourself.
Well then Death Battle would serve us better and hopefully they will.
Some times the problem with not doing research is that you miss some of the funny parts of a character. I like touhou a lot and have been playing subterranean animism for awhile. For me I enjoy the joke of the constantly lazy and always sleeping on the job Hong getting beat up.
But at the same time I also haven't done research on the other side. I know gaara vs Rock Lee but maybe after that Rock Lee turns into a punching bag as well.

@@raulcenteno534 I know it doesn't. In fact, the fairies and lesser youkais are actually weakest (with the exception of Cirno, Clownpiece, and Koishi) compare to the rest. But keep in mind, we have a shrine maiden who can float out of realities, making her invulnerable to literally anything, a witch who can blow up a mountain with her mini blaster box, a maid who can manipulate time, be it slowing, accelerating, or even stopping it completely, a vampire mistress who can control fates and destinies, her blonde loli sister with crystal wings who can Hakai anything if she chooses, and so much more.
