P.S. Ich bin in Mülheim an der Ruhr (Ortsteil Speldorf) aufgewachsen, habe meiner ersten 23 Jahre dort verbracht. Schon damals war nicht viel los. Mittlerweile ist nur noch kulturelle Ödnis.

In den warmen Monaten gibt es jeden Mittwoch in Mülheim kostenlose Konzerte in der Freilichtbühne, der Adventsmarkt in der Altstadt ist auch was für kleines Geld, auf oder an der Ruhr kann man sehr gut sportlich unterwegs sein, das Theater an der Ruhr hat weltweites hohes Ansehen, der Sportpark in Styrum ist auch recht neu und gut geworden uvm. Keine Ahnung, was nicht funktioniert hat, aber von Ödnis kann safe nicht die Rede sein.
