Hey, thanks for the great review! Looking forward to using this guy with a more recreational angler kayak. Very few reviews/videos come up that aren't specifically KastKing, so keep them coming!
Thanks! Look through my videos and find "Lower Otay Reservoir" and I used the compass all day on a kayak fishing a jerkbait and it performed flawlessly
I had a blackhawk 2 as a commuter rod till it broke fighting a decent fish (operator error). I'm glad kastking another telescoping rod, most likely gonna get this as replacement since Blackhawks are pretty pricey now.
You're welcome! It's not that there's not enough guides it just seems like there could be more. I've actually caught several fish on this rod now and it's working really well!
I think everyone's hookset is a little different, mine isn't crazy hard but I've caught them on bladed jigs and swim jigs on the rod with no problems. For $36 and a 1 year warranty might be worth it to give it a shot! If you end up getting one come back and let me know how you like it.

Thanks for the review.
Thanks for mentioning the lack of enough guides

I just bought one of these for an Everglades trip. Is it still working out for you?
Yes it is! I have both rods still going strong and still use them frequently!
Cool😁😁😁
It’s that you wow nc test☝️
Hello great review and you got a new subscriber 🤙🏼
Would you still recommend this rod after 7months ?
Thank you! I was actually just using it yesterday to throw the new MadBite spinnerbaits so I would 100% still recommend it! Thanks for watching!
Which lake were you at?
Thx

What is the heaviest jig I can use for this
I wouldn't go over 3/4 oz
@@WorldsOkayestFisherman do you think its durable enough to handle a jig hookset?

Be careful using yours because they break easy
