Hello Neighbor Welcome to Raven Brooks takes place in another time line, because the normal house is different, the house in front of the Peterson property is not Nicky's house, also because in the book Buried Secret it is explained better as Act 1 happened, and it is nothing like the series, also because in the books Trinity moves before Nicky, and finally in the description of ep 6 it is mentioned that this episode is based on HN2, HN VR and SN In short, the animated series is a reimagining of the original timeline
Honestly, I think the show is in an alternate timeline, in the same vein as FNaF is with the movies. Decanonizing what is essentially eight years of lore is a dangerous move, so I'm assuming that the show is a reimagining of the events in the games and books in the same way the FNaF movie is.
I agree, because it's inconsistant with Hello Neighbor act 1 (not juste act 2, because why Nicky would have imagine the events differently for act 1 ?), Search & Rescue (no Finch and Delroy in the rescue squad) and the franchise in general (in the AS, it's Trinity and not Nicky who lived across Mr. Peterson's)
Especially when considering the recent teasers for season 2 revealed The Shadow to be Theodore's brother. If they decanonized the extremely well crafted concept of The Shaxow from a reperesentation of trauma and fear to a fucking dead kid, the entire fucking community ids going to explode.
I believe the golden apple coins is a charm. But for bad luck that the guest creates. They also represent the forest protectors cult and what the forest protectors did at the golden apple amusement. The coins are created by the guest with its ability to curse someone with bad luck. The forest protectors have no idea how powerful their god is
Hello I got information from the devs that hello neighbor 1 act 1 was actually a therapy session so the story in the game is messy but the series shows the actually story of what happened to Nicky and the crew as in season 2 (spoiler) there will be flashbacks and flashforwards show the kids getting therapy and more story that follows
goodness 2 weeks later lol jk! but 7:05 it was never confirmed that Ted left right before the police got there, my theory that I made through leaks and things Alex told us, is that Ted is going to break out of jail somehow, than hunt Aaron down and kidnap him, which will result in the intro of HN2 happening, which is also confirmed to happen sometime during season 2 but not in the first episode, as when someone on the discord asked Alex does ep7 take place during or after HN2, Alex said neither, which only leaves the option of ep7 aka S2 EP1 being before, we also know that Quentin will show up some time in season 2, which might point at HN2 happening sometime in the middle to end of S2. But hey that just a theory, a HN theory!!!
i think this is the general direction this is gonna go in as well!! however, with trinity's supposed soon-to-be-death and the guest acting as the overarching plot of season 2, it could be possible that it's more of a season 3 thing. maybe it will be teased in season 2 episodes, but not actually shown until season 3? because then again, trinity _is_ the main character, and i think this will remain consistent throughout the show.

They were blue, and if you haven't noticed, brown in Aaron's eye color in the games. Nickey isn't Nickey, he's Aaron. Unless it's a dumb mistake by the animators.
My prediction for the next season is that Aaron isn’t in there but the guest is since the makers said they will introduce the guests to the show so I think that the guest was eating the crows

The books are technically still canon but exist as part of their own continuity, so they are considered to be a separate storyline from the animated series or the games.
Also, Nicky’s eyes changed color. They were blue throughout the entire show except for the finale, where they’re brown. I don’t think him having a face of terror would change his genetics, so I don’t think that’s Nicky they saved. But I’m not sure who would have escaped that room. Maybe Arryn (if that’s how his name is spelled) saw Nicky get taken, switched clothes with him, and convinced him he was Arryn, Mr. Peterson’s son. I’m curious to see how the new season plays out and can’t wait to watch!

@@RandoDoodlz @Rose-ghostsnflowers AND they're still green in an old photo of the inventors club in a teaser!! this is _definitely_ intentional. although aaron replacing nicky is an interesting theory, i actually highly doubt it tho. i mean, he _wanted_ to go back to his prison throughout the entire finale, so what is the motivation behind this?? someone else in a different video think it was meant to reflect the drastic change(s) in nicky's personality. while i dont think this is _all_ there is to it, i believe it may be related to whatever tf the guest was up to while nicky was held captive at peterson's.
It’s so that he can’t lose his/Aaron’s life. As said, “Lose the coin lose your life” Ted is collecting coins so that he and his son are safe from the cult

The mannequins are not living, they're robotic. Robotic mannequins are a recurring thing in the books. So, it's not kids imagination.

They all eventually will try to work together but then just split and nicky will be the last and try to really find whats in the basement.
