- Reed, Susan, and an unknown item are summonded to the moon to meet with Galactus on The Arc. With a revelation from the aftermath of Nu-World, Galactus demands Reed contact him in the event their world is at the risk of destruction. Confused, Reed questions Galactus and learns of the Galactus Seed. Followed by an interogation for not noticing the return of Franklin's powers.
▸ The Fantastic Four is a superhero team appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. The team debuted in The Fantastic Four #1 (cover dated Nov. 1961), helping usher in a new level of realism in the medium. It was the first superhero team created by artist/co-plotter Jack Kirby and editor/co-plotter Stan Lee, who developed a collaborative approach to creating comics with this title.

Galactus being the one so aware of Franklin is strange yet so fascinating. It’s like a space god noticing your kid and being terrified while you don’t know what’s going on at all because you’re busy with work.
Really wish Galactus can go back to being genuinely threatening and such rather than the universe’s punching bag for showing off how strong something is in the more recent stuff. Galactus like in JH’s run just feels more interesting

Blame the lazy, and untalented writers. Galactus is the living enbodiment of Existence and Non-Existence who is so powerful he is capable of instantly undoing entire time lines(The Ultimate Nullifier is a part of him)

Uncanny X-Men Vol 1: issues 189 - 191.
It is the story about Kulan Gath written by Claremont and along with the X-Men features Spiderman, Dr Strange, The Avengers, and a random assortment of others.
As you like Claremont and battle royals this would be right up your alley, though Spiderman gets done dirty in it. Truthfully there is this whole weird Revelations/Messiah thing in the writing with Spidey standing in for the first and second comings and various others filling roles good and bad for this near allegory, but it seems more just inspiration than message.
Pilgrims Progress it is not.
Marvel no longer has rights to the Robert E Howard stuff so there will be no new versions of this story.

To me, Galactus is more cosmic vampire and demon than a cosmic god. He can't exist without absorbing the power of life sustaining planets A god doesn't have to do this. But Demons and Vampires have to. He says he does this to survive like he's some kind of Darwinian animal. I don't buy it.
