- Marie Claude Pietragalla in one of her finest performances, choreographed for her by Carolyn Carlson. Stunning. 1993 performance, maybe 1995 I can't remember but if the first 3 minutes don't pull you in...something must be wrong.

makes me want to get out my "real" clothes and be who I once was...This is amazing- I love that I can see the classical training and maybe a little Maurice Bejart? and or Twyla Tharp and maybe mime Marcel Marceau?... Rusty on my dance knowledge obviously. You can fill me in if you have time on her influences etc. So sorry I never opened posts. Rectified now. Thanks for posting I will watch and re-watch this piece many times... Namaste Z.
Pietragalla was a prima in Paris, a Chosen One (fantastic) and her own company is great BUT this was choreographed by Carolyn Carlson who have been influenced as you write
