So nice to see some love for Line 6! I bought an original Spider 210 twenty years ago, a 2x10 50 watt combo, absolutely perfect for gigs, never even turned the volume up more than half way those celestions are SO loud!! I stopped using it a few years ago because I sort of became aware that it would now be seen as a little bit embarrassing, the gear snobs are really snooty about digital modelling amps anyway but everyone hates the Spider amps. I don’t care anymore, I’m playing mine now, on my channel, with pride! I have also just bought a Boss Katana and of course it’s totally up to date and brand new so it’s truly an upgrade BUT there wouldn’t BE a Boss Katana without the Line 6!
My first Line 6 Amp was the Flextone, had the Flextone II, Vetta, Pod Kidney Bean, Pod Pro, currently have the Helix, HX Stomp XL and both PowerCabs...some awesome products!
Currently in a committed relationship with a Helix LT, been a fan of Line 6 since using a POD in a studio to back up my Marshall. The engineer dialed it in exactly and blew us away. I've rocked with Spider 's and PODs and never looked back. The Helix LT was a game changer. Love them 🤘😝
I've had my Spider V 30 for years. For some reason lots pf people hate on the spider amps but I love mine. Great little practice amp, lots of different sounds and has saved me an amazing amount of money not havong to buy different pedals.
Love your videos. I don't watch the ones you are not in. I just like the way you explain things. Please do a video on budget friendly active pick up guitars. I have had an esp Ltd bass and loved it. I would like to know if they are the best 6string active pickup guitars or is their another great guitar out there for similar pri e range. Keep up the good work.
Very cool Dagan..I love these little nuggets of knowledge w gear and such man..it's all the history and stories and legacy players that define the effects and the tones they're capable of that we spend so much time and $$ chasing...so every little fact is another layer to the story from another players fingers..it's awesome bro..this is what we nerds crave...as u know we'll...you are certainly a bigger guitar nerd than I and that's the highest regard of compliments brother...keep rocking your way🤘😜🎸
The original POD was good, I even saw a few bands, with a great sound that used them live. I still use mine. Also have a XT Live + the amazing Variax 700 (Made in Fujigen Japan, so top quality) You didn't mention the Line 6 Guitar Port which was a kind of online modeller/learning tool. It was brilliant and had all the guitar sounds for songs like "Bang Your Head" but they sadly discontinued the whole service after a couple of years. It was much better than some of the practice tools available now (e.g. Spark 40) .
I live Line 6. For live shows, I use my JTV 89F into HX Stomp and then 4cm into EVH LBX into HB 2x12 with V30s. Can play a capoed acoustic 12 string for Free Falling and then straight into Drop D Lee Paul for Killing In The Name. Most versatile rig for a bar band / club guitarist.
I've been resistant to Line6, I mean, I keep it simple and tactile and love pedals expressively used. But early this year I got given an M13 with all the trimmings... And wow. Not only are the models accurate to my ear, but my expression on the floor has reached new heights. Am looking forward to digging deeper into what they do. Also; the M13 is a hell of a unit for what they can be bought for now. Just saying!🍀
I bought a Spider 3 75 watt used for $75 years ago I only use 4 patches clean dirty heavy and massively heavy I use reverb delay wah and the volume pedal so I’m good 💪
I got the 'Dream Rig' when it first came out, JTV 59, DT50 and HD500. I've since moved to the Helix and still use the Variax but don't use the amp anymore. I've since got four more Variax guitars as I love the versatility they have for the covers band I'm in.

Ah the POD! I had the rackmounted POD back in the early naughties, a classic piece of kit!
Still use the HX-FX unit too, very cool.
I got the pod go a couple of months ago after returning to guitar playing!! Love it so easy to use at a great price!! Sounds great!!

Got 3 variaxes, and a Helix floor, absolutely love them!

Love Line 6. A Spider 2 was my first amp when I started playing. To this day I always default to Line 6 or Yamaha when I'm looking into amps.

A great tribute to True pioneers and innovaotors!
the POD HD500X is amazing
i wonder when a variax or a shuriken could be wireless, i wanna change patch, and my guitar changes too, but wirelessly
I picked up the line 6 v m 2 awesome so much in one amp if only I had one when I first started playing.
Still love my ax 2 12
i have a Duoverb and a spider jam.
I knew i liked 12 foot ninja for a reason : ). I need a Variax to go with my helix floor.
I'm gonna trade in my awful sounding orange amp for a Line6 Spider V20 red edition wish me luck

I have the dream rig with the JTV69 and HD500X. What Is a reason for not using the DT50?
@@zakklee2556 I use the Helix straight into my mixing desk now.
yeh - But why can't you buy a hx stomp at the moment - non available.
Why get line 6 ... When you can have line 7
line 6 was super cool when I was a stupid 18 year old.
Ugh I feel ya.
The comments that hype up line 6 make me sick 🤮
Reggie Watts!!!
