On a brighter note I just want you to know that I wasn't sure if I wanted to pursue acrylic pouring until I came across your videos. I have really enjoyed your tutorials especially this past week. I thought your take on going “bacterial” was fabulous. Someday when you do go viral/bacterial, your kids, grandkids and great grandkids for generations will tell the great story of when grandmother Jilly went “bacterial”with her spectacular artwork and tutorials. It’s a heartwarming story your family will always enjoy telling. You seem to always be on interesting adventures. For instance, the adventure with the lawnmower while listening to your music. What I got out of it was, you were having a wonderful time listening to your music and cutting the grass cut at the same time. Sounded very peaceful and uplifting. I agree with you 100% about people saying negative things about our art (or anything for that matter). My philosophy is, before I speak I ask myself “is what I’m about to say kind, true and more importantly necessary”. It keeps me out of trouble most times. Thank you Gilly, there are people who just HAVE to vent their opinion no matter how negative or ill-informed it may be. I believe are bitter, unhappy people who want to be like the "successful" people they perceive others to be but are too mired down in the mud of their own disatisfaction to change their circumstance. The only thing you can do is shake their dust from your feet and walk on. Thank you for your tutorials and the happy and authentic way in which you deliver them. It is wonderful and contagious. Your videos brighten my world every single day! I have tried the pouring once because you make it look so easy. It is not easy! Art is so subjective, If you think something is Gorgeous, say so Loud and Proud... if someone else doesn't, that's just there opinion. I love watching you work, although I have to admit I occasionally talk to you, asking you what you are doing.. but then in the end your painting turn out so pretty.. I also love that you show your mistakes, and then show how you fix it. So forget the negative... there are lots of us that love your work

I wish I had been as easy to brush of miserable people when I was young. It's funny how with getting older we just don't really care what someone thinks especially someone that can't even give a kind word to someone as nice and obviously good hearted as you are! In art nothing is right or wrong - you cannot judge personal taste - I love the way you try out different ways and colors - if everyone would do the same life would be boring - in South Africa I don’t always find the same products but I try out some of the things you do with what I can get here and the results are sometimes surprising - thank you for your videos - I thoroughly enjoy them

Please don’t let the naysayers bother you. Some people are thoughtless and there is nothing you can do about it except control the way you react to it. I LOVE that you get excited about your work! It is wonderful and contagious. Your videos brighten my world every single day! I have tried the pouring once because you make it look so easy. It is not easy! Art is so subjective, If you think something is Gorgeous, say so Loud and Proud... if someone else doesn't, that's just there opinion. I love watching you work, although I have to admit I occasionally talk to you, asking you what you are doing.. but then in the end your painting turn out so pretty.. I also love that you show your mistakes, and then show how you fix it. So forget the negative... there are lots of us that love your work

Dear Miss Golly. You bring me sunshine and laughter every time I watch your videos. I too was banned from my riding mower because I shredded the only set of keys to many gadgets and doors. Not only did I drop the keys off the mower, but then I ran over and over them until they were confetti. I kept wondering what that was I was running over. Needless to say, I went out and bought my own mower so I won't destroy the hubby's. Hehe. You just ignor those stupid mean peeps. They are not even worth acknowledgement that they even exist. In art nothing is right or wrong - you cannot judge personal taste - I love the way you try out different ways and colors - if everyone would do the same life would be boring - in South Africa I don’t always find the same products but I try out some of the things you do with what I can get here and the results are sometimes surprising - thank you for your videos - I thoroughly enjoy them
