Going To Town Rig

Got an old Chevy, sittin' out back,
Needs some work, but she's mostly intact,
Gonna get her ready, for a trip to town,
Make her look good, so I don’t get frowned.
Goin' to town rig, she ain't gotta be perfect,
Just good enough to take me where I'm headed,
Shined up poverty caps, all four in place,
Gonna make her shine, give her a little grace.
Hit the body panels some shine juice bright,
Make 'em look new in the broad daylight,
Fresh air freshener, bourbon in the breeze,
Gotta mask the smell of oil and grease.

Lawn mower gas, filled to the brim,
She might not be new, but she ain't lookin' grim,

Gonna take this rig, show her everywhere.
