La edad del sábado: una noche con la poesía de Teresa María Rojas

El 29 de abril de 2023, Artefactus Cultural Project, en colaboración con la Fundación Cuatrogatos, presentó el recital literario "La Edad del Sábado: Teresa María Rojas lee sus poemas" como parte de la cuarta edición del Solo Theater Fest. La velada resultó inolvidable con la presencia de Teresa María Rojas, una destacada actriz y escritora cubanoamericana, considerada una leyenda en el teatro hispano de Estados Unidos.
Teresa María Rojas, conocida por su inmensa contribución al mundo literario y teatral, compartió con el público una cuidada selección de sus poesías, tomadas de su primer libro "Señal en el agua", que abarca versos escritos entre 1956 y 1968, así como poemas de los libros "Ecos de la brevedad", "La casa de agua" y "Los días cercanos".
Esta memorable noche fue posible gracias al apoyo de instituciones comprometidas con las artes y la literatura, incluyendo Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, The Windhover Foundation, National Book Foundation, y el Consejo para las Artes y la Cultura del estado de la Florida. On April 29, 2023, Artefactus Cultural Project, in collaboration with the Cuatrogatos Foundation, presented the literary recital "The Age of Saturday: Teresa María Rojas Reads Her Poems" as part of the fourth edition of the Solo Theater Fest. The evening proved to be unforgettable with the presence of Teresa María Rojas, a distinguished Cuban-American actress and writer, recognized as a legend in the Hispanic theater of the United States.
Teresa María Rojas, known for her immense contribution to the literary and theatrical world, shared with the audience a curated selection of her poems, drawn from her first book "Signal in the Water," encompassing verses written between 1956 and 1968, as well as poems from the books "Echoes of Brevity," "The Water House," and "The Nearby Days."
This memorable night was made possible thanks to the support of institutions dedicated to the arts and literature, including the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, The Windhover Foundation, National Book Foundation, and the Florida Division of Arts and Culture.
