@@elzbethmrgn do you need to read them in order or can I choose one at random? I feel like I’ve heard you say they’re self-contained stories but maybe there’s also an element of world-building that would be better understood if read in sequence?
@curatoriallyyours I feel like you could skip the first one because the tone is different from all the rest, and although it introduces Cadfael, you can pick it up from the second one (One Corpse Too Many). From the second one, although they're all stand-alone mysteries, events outside the mystery itself proceed in a linear fashion and there's minor spoilers about recurring characters if you don't read in order.
Lol silly kitty . Great haul btw thanks for sharing
@@teatimewithtraceyandcrew she’s a delightful menace!
I'M SO EXCITED 🎉 I can't wait to hear your thoughts

@@myreadinglife8816 I often wonder if I should edit such things out but menace pets are always fun to see, so I inevitably leave it in!
I’m reading Tom Lake at the moment and loving it.
@@lizh9497 I have heard good things! I wonder how similar it is to The Dutch House?
@ I’m not sure. I still haven’t read The Dutch House, although it’s been on my TBR for ages! Tom Lake was a 5 star read for me 😀
