For absolute authority you dont need to spread. The group can just use 2 mits and the whole party can stack together do a mariokart and ignore that mechanic completely since it doesnt do much dmg. The stack part is more important. Thats how I did it with my group and it was super easy! 😊
Thanks! We tried (not willingly) with 1 or 2 flare and it def worked so I trust that you can stack everyone. Might release a short if everyone does that!
I haven't done the 3 DT EX Trials yet so ima watch your guides! Iove the visual guide+ gameplay of it! It makes everything seems better and clear lol (Still haven't cleared Hydaelyn , Zeromus and Rubicante ex unsync yet . ;___;)
To be honest, Authority and Coronation were way less of a pain in the arse than I expect, considering the normal version Authority was already annoying.
You can ignore authority completely. Na pf has everyone stack nw corner and run to ne corner and just pop mits while staying stacked. Mechanic over lol
The current appear around halfway through the Radical Shift cast, so it might be that you are looking too soon. You can also check under the platform if it's easier for you. If it's going Right>Left, check the right to know which object will be under you, etc.
Ill be honest, me and my static always preferred your strats over Mr. Happy because its more streamlined and doesn't usually have weird day 1 jank. We cleared Arcadia savage thanks to your vids
For meteors, why not just spread everyone between individual meteors and just have the four north peeps move to their south meteor after they get hit? Way less movement, leaves the casters free to turret, same result.
So this is what we did in the first place but if meteors are too spread out and it's the back row that is targeted (ignoring the front meteor), the player hiding behind the front row meteor will die from the explosion of the back row meteor. This happened to us like 2 or 3 times so we decided to just group on the back row. It seems you can also all group in the front row (and then the back row is never targeted first).
@@yukizuri Makes sense. Another question, did you try omitting the movement where a pair joins the others if both of its meteors are broken? Cuz if the balls target each player once, then they should be safe even if they just chill in place.
@@MyVanir they do not target each player once, my static tried that and we found out they target players at random so one person can be targeted more than once
You can be behind the front row of meteors. If everyone stands behind their own meteor and moves to a new one after theirs blows up the mechanic resolves perfectly. You don't need to start at the back row.
Not quite. If each person stands on a separate meteor, there's a chance that the orb targets a ranged meteor (say, healer) and it will kill whoever is in front of them. I've seen this happen a lot. Stacking all together and moving from meteor to meteor seems to be the more consistent strat.
Literally the first mechanic of the fight: *misspelled.* Yuki, it's *AETHERTITHE.* I don't even begin to understand how you made this mistake, because it's the FIRST THING THAT HAPPENS. It is literally the thing you'd see the name of THE MOST while putting together a guide. It's not just that you and yours rush these things out the door to chase clout, but now you're getting *lazy* about it. God *damn.*
I think you don't have a clue about guide making cause no, this is not the name I'm seeing the most. That would be mechs that are hard to explain and ones that happen multiple times. Then, since english is not my first language, I tend to do mistakes when I think i'm recognizing something. Type Aetherite and Aethertithe on google and check which one is the most common. My brain just know Aetherite already, not the second one. Finally, if you do follow me for a long time, you'll know that the pace I'm editing guide out hasn't changed one bit and that 4 years prior, I already did some spelling mistakes. Now, if this first mistake (when there are like 2 per guides in 15min videos) are a no-go for you, it's fine. But please don't create false narrative from it.
It's unfortunate to be so insulting, on someone who does a lot of work for people who don't necessarily have the skills to go blind, to look for the mechanics by themselves etc... and who through their guides allow precisely to accompany this kind of person towards a direction! So if I understand correctly because he misspelled the name of the first mechanic: the players will be lost?? (especially since it only appears at the beginning XD) With more intelligence, you should have just said: (this is an example) = "Very good guide, but be careful there is a spelling mistake on the first mechanic, it's not really bad, but I'm just pointing it out to you :)! " It's a shame because the community is great, but because of a minority of people who just want to show themselves and be virulent about their words... Now I have your nickname and screenshot your comment... I hesitate to show your bad example of what not to do XD... on all didi servers and also FB. For the others good vibes and let's keep this good atmosphere that FFXIV must represent \o/
LMAO. Chill out dude. Why are you raging on someone's guide video just because they misspelled one word? Yuki's strategy videos are the easiest and simplest to understand to me compared to the others like "Hector" and "Mr.Happy". Time and time again, I always look for Yuki's guides as they have helped me understood the mechanics much quicker. For true gamers, we could give a rat's ass about if a mechanic was misspelled, it's obvious on what the intent is. The visual guide is there, and steps are there. People like Yuki who put this up to help the FFXIV community prog with no expectation in return is what makes FFXIV so great. People like you on the other hand to nit-pick every single thing ruin it for others.

@lucatiel2859 Yes. You can stack everyone and just mitigate it, it's very very easy.
@@yukizuri I've also done this, worked really well!
Anyone know if its a bug with the flares or do they just not do enough damage to kill
Thank you for such a well done and quick guide for the EX. Has helped both my groups a lot.

That's the reasoning exactly.
We died a couple of times spreading out so we figured that we might as well stack in the back row.
Or just make a N->S conga with the meteors and groups stack behind the last meteors with 0 extra movement.
@@Aerac Yup it works too!
