The line 'and monsters are born' makes me feel nostalgic for my early, cholic memories. I'm still miserable, and the reality that I've become someone monstrous, craven, cynical is increasingly difficult to avoid.
Amazing! I love The Chromatics and Glass Candies' retro style. To me, it's not as-if the 70's/80's are coming back, but more like they have just continued right on and progressed! The state of mind that this type of music puts me in is out of this crummy world.

Forgotten but not gone? I think it’s safe to say that it’s impossible for music to just stop being played due to the year it is. Saying the style is coming back I feel like that’s more talking about what’s popular. The listener has full control of what is.

This song is mesmerizing, but I imagined another video where Ruth singing were the focus. Impressive. It's just that i heard Kill for Love before seeing this.
This album is a sound- movie, a complete story that we all love to listen.. and maybe evoke some dark/pink images of desolation, sexiness, escape and deep atmospheres.
