I have never ever been such a huge fan of any team in any kind of competition/sport/esport. I love these guys, their attitude and energy. Don't ever change my dudes.
1:53 when game started, Perkz hyped up, Jankos ignored the bad joke and focused on the game and Caps took his shoes off it was over for Damwon in that 2nd game.
Some can say that this year was a disaster in terms of how they played (even though they won 2 splits and got into the semifinals of worlds) but tbh being a 2x split champion and making worlds semis when meta doesn't favor you, and doesn't match the playstyle that G2 prefers is impressive. Imagine what would have happened if they had the meta in their pocket because let's be clear their teamplay, level of trust and decision making is on point and that's why pretty much everyone were predicting like 45-55 G2-DWG even though DWG are just playing out of their minds and are the best team right now whereas G2 was struggling and yet predictions were almost even. For me the roster should remain the same cause the meta is shifting and who knows maybe next year it would favor G2 because it's the only thing they lacked this year.
To be fair, their Spring split had a rocky start with Caps ADC and Summer split wasn't too promising either. Not saying they were bad, just pointing out they had rocky starts, so people coukd see that as a bad year
Im not saying they were all doing great or that they played exceptionally well, each one of them had shaky games but the overall outcome is impressive. and all the "If... then.. maybe" are because (again) if we mix G2 from 2019 (when they were creating the meta) and G2 from 2020 when their teamplay is better as Perkz/Jankos and others mentioned many times in the interviews, there is few that can stop them.

Championship teams don't look at how many teams are there they are better than but what they need to be at the top. G2 and their fans should expect more from the roster and themselves and stop looking at"hahaha still better than NA" "still 3-0ed bad Gen G" or "still best in Europe" same goes for the "troll inting" excuses
G2 have 3 types of games that is they either int the games or the game is a rollercoaster where either side can win until the very end or Caps has 25 stacks on Mejaice. Either way its a blast to watch their games.

I'm Korean but I want to say that regardless of the finals being between Korea and China, I'm so proud of G2 and FNC this years. Undoubtedly they are the "LCK and LPL killers"!
