Even though it's a great play by keria how is that the tournament winning play and keria should get the full credit? So Zeus and Faker didn't need to do anything and keria's poppy play is all that's required for winning the whole tournament?
@@glidersuzuki5572 so let me break it down for you. It’s not that they did not win the tournament, but if keria did not ult knight there. What will happen is this: 1. Knight teleports in time to Ult dash and charm faker. At most here, it’s a 2-1 trade in favour of BLG, the fight would have ended and the game would have carried on with an uncertain ending however favouring T1. Likely that knight’s ahri would have all 3 dashes after the fight even if the rest of T1 showed up. But because of the TP deny by keria, he created the opportunity for T1 to win at that moment because of it, and they won. Meaning Keria made the decisive move to win the tournament. Remember this is game 5 of a 2-2 series. Any team fight at this point could tip the scales in an already tense match. Blg was down but not out as we have seen their performance in game 1 and 3. That’s why keria won T1 the tournament. Because he created the opportunity and with that opportunity they won. Not to discredit the rest of the team, we all know everyone played phenomenally this is the best series in the the past 5 years at least. Edit: In truth, it’s not an outlandish 5 head play. It’s a skillshot on an immobile champion, even a bronze player could have done it. But because it happened that’s where the opportunity came from.
@freddyfrog70 I know that much. But walking up to a stationary target and hitting poppy ult doesn't make him the finals MVP or the game decider. By your same logic, Keria ults away knight. But what if Zeus and Faker die because Faker doesn't kill elk. Now it's a winning state for BLG better than if knight cleans up
that’s not the point, I never claimed that he was the mvp. we all saw faker’s game winning sylas play at game 4 and his overall performance in game 5. But keria’s ult literally decided the outcome of the game
Who is Faker? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Faker thinks, I agree. If Faker speaks, I’m listening. If Faker has one fan, it is me. If Faker has no fans, I don’t exist.
Game 5 was absolute cinema, as was the whole series. The back and forth. Chat going crazy the entire series. Then down 2-1 you can see a switch flip on and all of T1 lock tf in. Faker in that last Sylas and Galio game was insane,
Hearing the O2 arena's crowd made the games more enjoyable to watch. Hearing them react live to the big plays so loud... It just makes things so much more exciting
Notes from the Spanish stream: Until game 4 , losing team always had three kills and games were always over at 27 minutes. We called it the 3 kills curse xD What a final series. T1 went ham last two games.
Last year, vs JDG, Faker used Azir's ultimate while the champion was screaming "Trust in me" This year he used his ultimate to win the series, the ultimate from Galio is called "Hero's Entrance" You cannot make this shit up!
Tbh id argue game 2 was even less close than game 1… at least t1 was somewhat coming back until a certain point in gsme 1. In game 2 t1 took lead and never let blg do anything
When it was T1 vs an LPL team they could’ve just handed T1 the trophy. Faker simply refuses to lose against the LPL, still a 100% winrate. The King, The GOAT, The Unkillable Demon King.
There might not be a better version of T1 than what we have today Faker: the general in his prime, with all the wisdom of 10 years of League within him leading what is probably 4 of the greatest, most prominent warriors of League as of today with Zeus, Gumayusi, Oner, and Keria
Faker really said, ok guys I let you have your moments; it’s time to show you what a god looks like. Faker deserved that MVP. The complete trust T1 has in each other is insane. No one loses that game 5 river fight and thinks let’s reengage, T1 does and Faker turns a losing fight into a game winning sequence and puts the top lane cherry on top.
Honestly this was a treat to watch, 4 games that were basically stomps from either T1 and BLG and the last game where the tension was super thick, both teams respecting each other, looking for an opportunity to turn the game in their favor, the last game was so even until both teams were forced to team fight and those last 2 team fights qere so tense, BLG seemed like they were winning the first team fight, but the jax using a flank TP and not being present for the follow up was enough for T1 to change the flow of things, faker really locked in for those last 2 games, he did some amazing plays, but everyone played super well, I especially liked Guma's ashe and kallista and Zeus' gragas, this was an amazing finally to worlds 2024 Edit: and of course, how could I forget, keria as poppy saving the finals by interrupting that TP in that very last fight
Faker might genuinely be THE best gamer of all time. Remember that guy who was famous because he beat PacMan twice or whatever? Then it turned out he'd faked it? Yeah, not that kind of Faker. This man might genuinely be the best we've ever seen. And it's not just about raw ability. He's been playing for how long? And what level? When has a single person ever had this much impact on his game, the games around him, and the people who watch him? It's genuinely insane.
@@wanderinguploadsBLG also win the game if Faker didn’t carry that Game 4. They don’t win the 2v4 in top of Faker doesn’t kill Elk. BLG wins if Faker doesn’t get the flash taunt on Knight. We can keep going on the list of plays that happen throughout a series
I remember when people started doubting fakers skill and if he can still hold the title of the goat but with this back to back world performance we can't deny it he came back to remind the world who faker is this game is so chilling men I love this series also kudos to blg they gave us a really good series it was better than last year which was too one sided

Keria with the MVP play in that final fight. Removing Knight with the ult, as he tries to tp in, stops what would've been a quick kill onto Faker, and allow's T1 time to get in and win the fight.
15:19 that claw back turn-around against a non-interactive Ziggs / Smolder Poke Comp is giving me vibes of picking Leona against Ardent Censer back in 2017. >Ziggs uses W to execute the tower and doesn't have it back up , flash still on cooldown for a little while longer >Smolder flash still down as well > Faker-Sylas hard engages on Rakan, steals the ult, interrupts the knockup with his own, flash - protobelts in and wins the fight >Rakan had ult up, but uses it too late, when his team is already hit with Poppy ult Knock-up and Renata Ult Takeover. >Impeccable timing from Faker, legit turned around the series. People are wowing over the Galio in Game 5, but Game 5 doesn't happen without this Sylas Save.
> flash - protobelts in and wins the fight He actually R protobelt flashes so Rakan couldn't R him, by the time Rakan is out of CC Faker is already on the carries
The whole downfall BLG had wouldn't happen if they didn't decided to keep ganking on just Zeus the whole series, they denied themselves all the resources to scale up
maybe more interventions/ur image appearing over the footage to point to details (even if not talking over it. which could be done some times by adjusting the tracks' volumes.) I think something like that would hit great.
Props to you for managing to get the vid out at that hour right after worlds, how were you even conscious? XD I think I fell asleep at game 4 (SA start time was like 12:30am)
you leave out (missed?) a lot of essential context. 8:53 the crab was less a "tempo on waves to attempt scuttle" play. and more kindred (xun) intentionally not killing the crab and warding enemy jungle instead. then on respawn they snapped on oner after he was on vision getting baited by that 13:00 Zeus getting caught countless times is a completely wrong presentation of reality. look at gnar cs. 1 cs at 4:30, while zeus got lots of xp. he was ahead in that scenario, especially when including the lead he gained for t1's other lanes here. 13 mins into the game zeus was even the only one with a big gold lead on the whole team - biggest in the whole match. have a good sleep though lol and thanks for the quick snap on the upload here
Xun would have still preferred to have the scuttle if possible for the mark but also knew that Oner would be there and they could probably kill him. Zeus's deaths still aren't good, they're just really not that bad and not the best use of resources for BLG. Or to phrase it another way, it would've been better had Zeus not died 3 times but despite that he maintained a lead, a poor choice from BLG and well played to T1 for making the most of the situation.

Amazing work to get this video out so fast, wow !
16:34 is such amazing movement by keria
Who is Faker? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Faker thinks, I agree. If Faker speaks, I’m listening. If Faker has one fan, it is me. If Faker has no fans, I don’t exist.
After the first 3 games
Faker is like “Fine, i do it myself”
The plays is crazy
That game 4 and 5 was insane, truly the Faker Show.
Thank you for the recap Rival!!!! What a BANGER HOLYYYY
Game 5 was absolute cinema, as was the whole series. The back and forth. Chat going crazy the entire series. Then down 2-1 you can see a switch flip on and all of T1 lock tf in. Faker in that last Sylas and Galio game was insane,
Thank you for that recap. Faker is just the goat
Zeus might be the mvp for taking so much pressure and never collapsing
All these games were "Faker survives somehow!?"
Props to you getting the vid out, Rival. And thank you.
Hearing the O2 arena's crowd made the games more enjoyable to watch. Hearing them react live to the big plays so loud... It just makes things so much more exciting
Thankyou for staying up after worlds to make a video Rival you're the GOAT
Notes from the Spanish stream:
Until game 4 , losing team always had three kills and games were always over at 27 minutes. We called it the 3 kills curse xD
What a final series. T1 went ham last two games.
I didnt get to watch these games due to work, So thanks again rival for giving me the rundown
Also Enjoy the rest haha
Last year, vs JDG, Faker used Azir's ultimate while the champion was screaming "Trust in me"
This year he used his ultimate to win the series, the ultimate from Galio is called "Hero's Entrance"
You cannot make this shit up!
The best damned series I've ever seen. Stayed up to like 3:30am Korean time to watch it all!
I can't believe T1 won. Looking at the first games I even thought it was going to be 3-0 for BLG coz they made it look so easy at certain moments.
There might not be a better version of T1 than what we have today
Faker: the general in his prime, with all the wisdom of 10 years of League within him leading what is probably 4 of the greatest, most prominent warriors of League as of today with Zeus, Gumayusi, Oner, and Keria
havn't watched worlds in years. this was a great recap
Honestly this was a treat to watch, 4 games that were basically stomps from either T1 and BLG and the last game where the tension was super thick, both teams respecting each other, looking for an opportunity to turn the game in their favor, the last game was so even until both teams were forced to team fight and those last 2 team fights qere so tense, BLG seemed like they were winning the first team fight, but the jax using a flank TP and not being present for the follow up was enough for T1 to change the flow of things, faker really locked in for those last 2 games, he did some amazing plays, but everyone played super well, I especially liked Guma's ashe and kallista and Zeus' gragas, this was an amazing finally to worlds 2024
Edit: and of course, how could I forget, keria as poppy saving the finals by interrupting that TP in that very last fight
It's genuinely insane.
agreed
This was the best series I’ve ever seen, an amazing opening ceremony, and I got to see it live in the O2!!!! What an experience!!
Bin is put in the bin, xun is slowed down, knight is relieved of duty, elk is back to the slaughterhouse and on is turned off.
Bin is going back to being a trash bin and eating garbage
6:41 everyone is saying Keria's poppy ult was unnoticed but that renata pull on Elk and Xun trying to block it for Elk was gorgeous
KB! Just came up on my TH-cam algorithm, 131k! Congrats mate, hard work pays off. Hope you’re well 🤙
I would go as far as to say this was potentially the greatest Bo5 to witness in full out of all the finals I've seen
Faker MVP absolutely deserved.
Nah keria is the real mvp
@@wanderinguploads maybe for quarters and semis, but finals faker absolutely deserved it.
@@window9213 did u see knights tp that got canceled? Blg wins the game right there if that tp goes through
@@wanderinguploadsBLG also win the game if Faker didn’t carry that Game 4. They don’t win the 2v4 in top of Faker doesn’t kill Elk. BLG wins if Faker doesn’t get the flash taunt on Knight. We can keep going on the list of plays that happen throughout a series
The series was so good man. All amazing players!
A new era, THE SAME EMPIRE!
-Medic
Unkillable Demon King, Unkillable ONCE MORE!
Been out all day, so this video its exactly what i need it. Thank you.
The last faker play .. GOD💯LIKE 💯
Yea it was insane! I was there watching live on TH-cam.
Insert *THATS WHY HE IS THE GOAT* meme
I remember when people started doubting fakers skill and if he can still hold the title of the goat but with this back to back world performance we can't deny it he came back to remind the world who faker is this game is so chilling men I love this series also kudos to blg they gave us a really good series it was better than last year which was too one sided
That was a real fucking Final, the atmosphere during Public Viewing was insane.
T1 has been at Worlds 9 times. This is his 5th win. *He has >50% winrate at WORLDS.*
no shit this is ideal timing for me, I watched some f1 at 1am and noticed league starting but couldn't stay awake... and wake up to this, perfection haha
And then the unkillable demon king unkillabledemonkinged all over the place.
The "T1 is the past, the present, and the future!" line by the commentator sent shivers
That nocturn dive was perfect, absolutely perfect
I fell asleep attempting to watch it, also in aus, cheers for the recap you legendddd
not a fan of faker but holy moly I gotta give it to him. he played SO FREAKING WELL like that 3v4 galio play blew my mind... wp to the young man and T1 🥳
Faker is Him, and Zeus neutralize every top laner this worlds is one of the key for them to win
When they needed him the most, he showed up.
THANK YOU FOR THE RECAP BOSS
Keria with the MVP play in that final fight. Removing Knight with the ult, as he tries to tp in, stops what would've been a quick kill onto Faker, and allow's T1 time to get in and win the fight.
The commentary was brilliant too
15:19 that claw back turn-around against a non-interactive Ziggs / Smolder Poke Comp is giving me vibes of picking Leona against Ardent Censer back in 2017.
>Ziggs uses W to execute the tower and doesn't have it back up , flash still on cooldown for a little while longer
>Smolder flash still down as well
> Faker-Sylas hard engages on Rakan, steals the ult, interrupts the knockup with his own, flash - protobelts in and wins the fight
>Rakan had ult up, but uses it too late, when his team is already hit with Poppy ult Knock-up and Renata Ult Takeover.
>Impeccable timing from Faker, legit turned around the series. People are wowing over the Galio in Game 5, but Game 5 doesn't happen without this Sylas Save.
> flash - protobelts in and wins the fight
He actually R protobelt flashes so Rakan couldn't R him, by the time Rakan is out of CC Faker is already on the carries
I feel like you should've covered the zone & freeze in g5 a little more. Seeing Guma level 8 and 40 cs diff to elk's level 6 at 19:54 is crazy.
The 3v4 mid was the real game winning play
Faker this series was the biggest "I'm Him" moment in esports
I'm so happy for Rekkles, he finally won worlds
The whole downfall BLG had wouldn't happen if they didn't decided to keep ganking on just Zeus the whole series, they denied themselves all the resources to scale up
worlds 2024 lived up to its theme song for sure. t1 esports legends
Keria carried the semis against GENG and made his stamp on game 5 of the finals but Faker really cemented himself as the final boss unwavering
I loved Bin in game 4, bro just went full yolo and said "screw farming, im going jungle"
maybe more interventions/ur image appearing over the footage to point to details (even if not talking over it. which could be done some times by adjusting the tracks' volumes.) I think something like that would hit great.
Props to you for managing to get the vid out at that hour right after worlds, how were you even conscious? XD
I think I fell asleep at game 4 (SA start time was like 12:30am)
Dude the Keira stopping teleport at the end there was crazy
Faker was literally playing out of his mind for game 4 and game 5. Bro single handedly took the trophy away from under blg's noses
just total goosebumps this entire match
you leave out (missed?) a lot of essential context.
8:53 the crab was less a "tempo on waves to attempt scuttle" play. and more kindred (xun) intentionally not killing the crab and warding enemy jungle instead. then on respawn they snapped on oner after he was on vision getting baited by that
13:00 Zeus getting caught countless times is a completely wrong presentation of reality. look at gnar cs. 1 cs at 4:30, while zeus got lots of xp. he was ahead in that scenario, especially when including the lead he gained for t1's other lanes here. 13 mins into the game zeus was even the only one with a big gold lead on the whole team - biggest in the whole match.
have a good sleep though lol and thanks for the quick snap on the upload here
He still had 1 CS by 5:30 right before Zeus died a 3rd time.
Crowd in London just buffed T1 to win this worlds, fascinating final.
its these comp games, hype commentators, and a hype crowd that makes me wanna play different games!
Faker the Stalwart King!
Zeus bonked his head on the trophy😂😂😂
