Another cool episode of some of the not so glamorous work before the sailing adventures….. though, I agree…the pulling off of that painters tape looked very satisfying!
Hi mate , hope this helps , the handle of a screwdriver is made that hexagonal shape so you can fit a spanner over it , this should help you with the oil screws and the grip you need for those drain plug screws. Then you only need to apply forward force and turn on the spanner. Thanks for the videos and keep up the great work.
Looks gold, I would recommend sanding the old antifouling off next time you come out of the water. It helps with speed and looks a lot more sleek. Love the videos keep them up!❤
Best thing to do when putting on a new oil filter cap is when twisting it on if your right handed twist with your left hand or vice versa to avoid twisting to much or to tight
I am a hands on kinda person. So it is great to see these maintenance vids. I don’t own a boat, but a great learning experience, nonetheless. Keep em’ coming!!
Great episode mate how good is the cairns boat yard. Ben and his family were super friendly and helpful. We were there two weeks ago and now we head north. Cheers for sharing your journey 🙌🏼
Loved the video mate. Great stuff. This is a very uneducated comment ( I know nothing of sailing) but would be awesome to see you do a lap of Australia. Would get some amazing content, and if you stop at Jervis Bay on the NSW South Coast I’d be more then happy to hook you up with supplies, fuel and of course a big bottle of rum.
Your theme is awesome! Personality is fitting for the boat adventure scene. Keep up the great work, you are inspiring. Do you feed the puppy a combined fish diet? $$$$ Get some sponsors for pet food on the sea. Get the puppy her own personality. I have a baby Q grill , same model as yours. i will never let it go! It’s about 15 yrs old. Looking to be on the water soon out of FL. Catamaran is the way to sea!
Have you ever tried underwater rod and reel fishing in the ocean? You'd have to be quick to reel in your catch if it bleeds on the hook with all the sharks around the reefs, but it looks so fun.
When doing the lower end when u fill from bottom up and have to put the fill plug in put the top one in first and it will air lock it and not spill any to put the bottom one in a little trick for next time

Great content, what is your approximation on how often this kind of work should be done?
Hey well it really depends on the antifoul so it could be done every year or every three
