Wow great tutorial/ explanation! Best I've seen from anyone on TH-cam- honest and thorough with no excess. Love the way you work, down to the very important detail of making sure to place all your latches in the same consistent direction for usage. Thank you for helping me understand this extremely useful procedure - I shall never forget it.
Drilling the top of the rivet for 2-3 seconds will result in the rivet coming apart cleanly with no damage to the surface or tools and no smacking any thing with a hammer in a fraction of the time.
Thank you. Living alone for the first time ever and have forgotten how some simple tools work and I don't want to cause damage. very clearly shown and well explained for anyone who wants to know anything about the tool and how it works.
Thx 4 this vid. It will be applicable for me - a 350z convertible canopy that I have to knock out the remnants of the existing rivets after drilling off the hats and then revit the new canopy on.
I’d be interested to see what the other side looks like. I’m restoring a wooden card table and they have huge pop rivets that are impossible to remove even with a drill. Thank you!
This is like a dad and son moment for me. Me being the son. Thank you for this man, appreciate it.
My pleasure!
Really clear and detailed step by step instructions that were not rushed. Thank you.

Thank you for taking the time to make this video and explain how riveting works! It was the exact demonstration I needed
Great video for those that don't own a drill. For those that do, just simply drill them out. Much faster and cleaner.

Thanks. I love when you said “don’t pay anyone to do this, it’s easy!””
I'm removing wood on the inside of a semi trailer and was so scared when I saw the rivets. LOL Thanks for making it less scary!

Great demonstration. I learned something. Thanks for putting this up.
I'm just getting into installing Rivets at home, so this is a useful intro. Thanks!
you damaged the panel when you pried that hinge off. I recommend using a plastic paint scraper
Getting ready to do this for the first time. Just what I needed, thanks.
Glad it helped

Any ideas?
Thanks

Wouldnt a drill bit be cleaner and faster
Thank you!
Good tip, thanks!
Why even have the lock if it’s that easy to remove
Thank you!!!
I just gently drill them out much faster and cleaner.
Wow too much beautiful
Poor boy just use drill to remove rivets no need to use hammer and flat screw
How brutal
😲While it's so easy to remove the rivets with a drill !!! 🤬👎👎👎
Title is misleading. Dislike
Settle down.
