"Stocking filler" gear is any cheap synth/drum machine, usually with some limitation in function. These are often collected by us G.A.S sufferers, but the question is, can you actually make anything decent on them?

This is why I don't feel bad about piracy or Spotify. Entitled musicians taking digs at hardware people save up to have a chance to use. For many of us struggling it's pretty insulting to call it stocking stuffers. How rich are you that you are getting hundreds of dollars of gear in a stocking? So insufferable.

I mean each individual thing is cheaper than a guitar pedal for the most part. I don't have any of this stuff either but looking at the studios of most music TH-camrs, they have lots of this. They don't need to be entitled, it's just part of their peer group and how they talk. You wouldn't have a stethoscope but a doctor talking about a 70€ one being "cheap" wouldn't come off as entitled.
