I brought a Jimmy xl, we needed the back seat for a 9 year old, but size it isn’t really that larger. Like both the 3 and 5 doors. I found after fixing the tyre pressure I was so more comfortable with driving it, I love it.

Great video thanks. I've just purchased an xl here in Australia. I also own a 2015 130. I'm keeping the Jimny as my daily drive and the 130 is the touring vehicle I can only talk from the test drives as I haven't received mine yet but It's just like a small Defender you are so right. I suspect I will use it for more than just the daily.
This type of vehicle is more fun to drive, and easier to fall in love with, than just about any other vehicle I can think of - enjoy it! In 1985 I bought a 1981 Suzuki Stockman (LJ80 series Sierra/Jimny...with the hardtop (LJ81) marketed here in Australia as the "Stockman") which is the great grandfather of your Jimny. I tell you, I went anywhere and everywhere in that thing, and always with a smile on my face - it was just a great fun first car. I still grin when I see a modern Jimny on the roads, remembering my lightweight go-anywhere grin machine (800cc 4cyl, 4sp.manual and the only "luxuries" were a heater and a radio). Cheers!

I think a lot of people who are interested in land rovers are also interested (possibly secretly) in Jimnys. I'd like to see how your land rover sensibilities view the jimny.

@@TirsbaekTVThe bodywork especially needs to be addressed, all new pipes, a new fuel tank, and much more. It's actually my mother's car but I took it over It has been in the shed for 12 years and we took it out 2 months ago with the Landrover Defender 90 td5 with the winch. There is a video on my TH-cam channel where it comes out of the shed w He is taken out of the sheded
I've followed your channel for some time because I have an old style Defender 90 - brilliant vehicle. I also have a new style Defender 90; also a brilliant vehicle. Now my wife wants a Suzuki Jimny! Nice. Have you seen the Little D styling kits to make it took more like a defender? I think a Jimny is just a mini Defender anyway. I own a Jimny jb43 along with my 110. Had it before i bought the 110 and liked it so much i couldn't part with it and ended up keeping both. Cool little cars that i feel are only held back by ground to axle clearance. Looking forward to both the rebuild and jimny mods 👍🏻 🚙🏴

Well done very cool car....I wouldn't call it cheap your putting yourself down... Good value especially with the extra's! if it was the lowest price one out there I would say you got a bargain I just bought a new one here the UK. I will be spending money on mine so the facts yours as all them included again that builds value in it.
Driving landrovers for 20 years. But now a 1999 Jimny and its all fine.

Congratulations on your best purchase to date... However, this congratulation is also a warning...WATCH OUT! Once you get used to crawling off-road, in this little mechanical marvel of simple, old-school mechanics, you won't miss endless hours in the workshop maintaining the good old but fragile Land Rover. You will be happy not to have half of the workshop, when you might be overlanding, lying in the back of your nice little Jimny. I will now subscribe to your channel to see your conversion of this simple 4x4
Thanks! It will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Defender. I don't think I could ever bring myself to 'replace' the Defender even if the Jimny is better all-round. But have a feeling I'm going to want to keep the Jimny long term too! 😄

When you first experience the "zizzle" that little Jimny makes you feel, you will never be the same.
Don't get me wrong, the Defender is a legend, it just needs an awful lot of love and maintenance.
But now you got both, you are one lucky potato 😉

You clearly have lots of money , most would buy a 2k car while restoring a defender and having owned 2 that’s no cheap job in itself
Great little 4x4.. I have one here in Iceland , same colour, four seats and automatic. I want to have have “constant lys í baglygter” kit for to be legal here to use the Auto lights. Do you know if Suzuki dealers carry that kit as standard or is this something I have to order. As I will be in Denmark next month.

I went to Iceland a couple of years ago, we rented a new Defender but saw a lot of Jimnys there too. It's one of my favourite countries, I will definitely go back again, and maybe make some videos 😁
As an owner of a Jimny 2021 i suggest you keep posting videos of both cars, the Defender and the Jimny.

Suzuki don't suffer with 2 cylinder misfire.
You may get that on the Landover I don't know but Suzuki are some of the most reliable vehicles in the World .

There aren't many cars on sale here in Denmark so it's pretty easy!
Search for Jimnys and sort by price 😄
before you pull the defender apart you should do a drag race between the jimmy and the defender if the defender will hold together.
That could be fun!
