The place was amazing in the past but the last trip we had there was Shocking !!!! So lets put this into context...Kids jumping into the lakes and swimming on multiple days as it was hot. No space on the so called "Luxury Coach" as there was 35 people on our trip. We were plaqued with 8lb catfish. You could take your own bait when we went but one of our party used the "house" bait and it was dry and flakey. No one on our whole trip caught anything about 42lb for the whole week. The guy in the flyer swim had 16 fish under 10lb but only 4 fish in the 20lb range. We took the food package and Glenn the bailiff was excellent but got stung on the way home when Bob asked us for 20 Euro's "Coach food" this was a mars bar, can of pop, packet of crisps and half a baguette.This used to be included in the food package but Bob very un politely told us to take it or leave it. We were told to bring the quote of bait before the trip but got their only to find out that they had spawned so only used 10kg max, the rest went to waste. All of the original fish had died in a fish kill, so they were telling us there were still the 60's in there, we get home to find out they knew this and were planning to re-stock that next Christmas. When you have limited Holidays and you work hard for your cash you want everything to go smoothly. It was just a mess from the start. I could go on but hopefully things have changed and they have addressed these things that ruined our trip. Sorry Curly and your mate, but this is defo not the Best carp fishing in France !!!!
Any proof of the fish kill? Like where did you source this information from? Not questioning it but its easy for someone with abit of grudge just to type something online that's all
@@Ash-qt8bs Hi, Matey, First hand as I used to fish it ! Everything wrote you can find out about if you do a little bit of research on LesQuis. You'll see, even the guys who run Lesquis will tell you they had lost a lot of Fish due to the Senne washing over and flooding the lakes with something. That's why all the very big fish aren't in there anymore. The management bought a lot of younger fish to replace the ones that had died or swam off down the Senne, off a local fish seller but these fish were only 20lb, 30lb, couple of 40lbs. Hence Pellets being allowed in 2014/5 to increase the weight of the fish from a non boil approach..
Fished it back in the 90s when Tob and Bernie ran it, did several winter work parties building the lodge and toilets, had great times and many fish, it was fantastic then, I can't imagine how good it is now.
Fished bay lake back in 04 05 could only use one rod as it was that prolific!! Fished it 2019 and only had 18!!! Later found out that they had lost a lot of fish on the complex and used the bay fish to stock the other lakes again!!!
Sometimes it’s not about the people it’s about the fish and the fishing is amazing there. Been there around 8 times and loved every minute of it from the pick up to the drop off
@@CarpFish1 it depends on what you compare it to. From what I've seen from their Facebook page, I wouldnt call it amazing by french fishing standards, horses for courses I suppose

Been going to Les Quis for about 7 years, love the place. Great staff and venue, bob is a legend 👌
I can remember reading about this complex years ago. It looks a cracking well run fishery.

Not allowed to bring your own bait. So basically you fish in the same spots, with the same bait as everyone else, and people actually enjoy this??

It's just so they can build the weight on quickly so they can brag about having big fish on the complex and rip you of for the bait.
@cp54542 if it was about the fish they wouldn't stick hooks in there mouths, it's about making money simple as that.
