Sgùrr na Cìche | 3 Munros from Loch Arkaig

- This epic mountain walk takes in three remote and exceptionally rugged Munros. The arduous effort required is rewarded with magnificent rocky mountainscapes throughout. Sgùrr na Cìche itself is one of the most shapely summits in Scotland and is a classic viewpoint.
Extremely boggy terrain lower down and very complex rocky terrain on the higher ridges makes this a long and exhausting outing. Not a route to be underestimated. www.walkhighlands.co.uk/fortw...
Our first outing in quite some time! Nice to be back!
A familiar sight but often left unclimbed, Beinn a' Chrùlaiste rises from the northern end of Rannoch Moor, its rounded slopes contrasting with its neighbour Buachaille Etive Mor across the road, for which it is the supreme viewpoint.

Nice one guys. Stunning trip. 😎👌 Got yis up oan the big telly 😁
Hey .. cheers Kev. 😃🍺
Great effort guys, it's a long way into Sgurr na Ciche. First time we attempted it we baled on Sgurr nan Coireachan because it was so hot and we'd had a long day previously. I then went back again on another hot day but this time biked up Glen Dessarry to the bothy and then hoofed in via the the gully on SNC like you guys. Hats off for carrying all your camping kit.
Thanks Kevin! 😊 Yeah it’s an effort to get in but worth every step. Not many people around on our visit which was also nice. Superb rewards with the conditions. Thanks for watching. 😄🙏🙌
@@ontheadventuretrails-scotl9389 Yep I only met another couple. Nice drone shots BTW.👍
Super vlog guys super cloud inversion ⛰🏴💯👍
😁🤙
Beautiful! Paul
Thank you for watching Paul. 😊🙌
Amazing inversion 😁
Was short but spectacular. Thanks for checking the vid! 😃🤙
Sgurr na ciche is amazing isn’t it. I was on a slightly different route and camped a little eariler on the ridge but saw the spot you choose and it looked decent. Had snow on it when I was there tho in april! Gordon
Hi Gordon, Thanks for watching. 😊🙏 Yeah it’s a superb area that makes you work hard for the prize! 😄👍
Great video again, Love these hills and fond memories. many thanks for sharing
Thanks John. Glad you enjoyed it. 😃
Absolutely stunning, another great vlog
Thanks for watching Scott. 😄🙌🤙
Don't you just love a temperature inversion. Good to see yous out and about again. Boy, those plates of dinner looked the business too. cheers.
Haha thanks Alan.. certainly needed a good scoff when we got back! 😁🤙
Hi guys. Stunning inversion. I experienced one myself last week travelling to the Lake District. I was in sunshine on Hartside pass but the Eden valley was a sea of white stretching over to the Cumbrian fells & North over the Solway Firth to the Dumfries & Galloway hills. Great video.
Thanks Michael 😊 It didn’t last long but what we got was beautiful. Thanks for watching again. 😃🙌
So glad to see you both up and around again😊 . That footage where you are both above the inversion is "da bomb"🙏. Again I just need to say that your drone footage and choice of music is pure dead brilliant. You guys always make a very classy film. 😎 Thank you.
Thank you so much for a lovely message. 😄🙏😍
Beautiful video guys - I loved the drone footage of the cloud inversion. Inspirational!
Thank you Keith. 😄🙌🤙
Stunning video guys, very enjoyable to watch. I love the remoteness of Glen Dessary, what a place to escape. Sgurr na Ciche is a right beast of a mountain too, brilliant. Excellent video, cheers, Mark.
Thanks Mark. Yeah it was a bit of an epic trip. Very enjoyable! 😊🙏

What an inversion, drone footage was unreal and I massively approve of pasta and Tabasco.
Overall, that is one of the better videos I’ve watched, well done mate!
Thanks Kevin! 😊 Yeah it’s a really nice place to go and to get those conditions was special. Needed some serious refuelling afterwards lol. 😃🤙
Great video guyd as always. No Hilleberg hotel (Allak2) on this trip ? MSR Access ?
Thanks Steve.. no this is a bit of a walk so went for the lightweight option. ⛺️😁🤙
Great watch as usual, but way too much Tabasco….lol
Haha .. you can never have too much tobacco 🌶 😄🥵
Lovely video, looked a nice hike & lovely inversion.👍🏔

Thanks Frank! 😊 Yeah it’s a really nice place to go. Not many people around. Worth a visit.
Hi mate good video, what’s your recommendation for best places you’ve wild-camped?
Thanks Jack.. For us.. Sgurr na Stri was ace! 😁🤙⛺️
A cracking hike D&L, great when you break out of the clouds like that. 👌🏼
I was hoping to see more of your campsite as it looked good on Insta. 🏕 Hoping to do these again in the autumn but include Ben Aden too.
