Back in season 3,She was disqualified due to the argument and bad words that her mom said to the other moms from ALDC. That's when her mother started to say that Kendall is the weak link. Kendall is not weak she is a strong dancer. Nicaya's mother on the other hand wants to make Kendall feel bad about herself because she thinks her daughter is better than her. Kendall didn't won because she is famous. Kendall won because she worked hard for this dance. Nicaya and her mother needs to back off and say,"I'm sorry for being envious and jealous towards you,Kendall." If Nicaya doesn't change her attitude she is going to be envious and jealous for the rest of her life towards Kendall.
I actually think that Nicaya is adorable and has gotten much better over the years as a dancer, her attitude seems to be more like her moms but I can understand her frustration, I think Cathy was trying to add a powerful dance and I think it was good but it just didn't win this time and we see the Candy Apples so infrequently these days so its impossible to know if they compete at competitions that ALDC aren't involved in and how she does there.

I will agree that sometimes I don't think the ALDC should have won a group dance over other studios, like MDP, but this is not one of those cases. One of the things that makes Abby's girls great id their ability to narrate a story through their dancing. This doesn't take away from the Candy Apple's girls' abilities at all mind you. Comparably, the Candy Apple's dance was technically harder, but not everyone was as technically advanced as they should have been for it. Again, I'm not trying to be rude, but from what I could see Vivi-Anne and Nicaya are not at the technical skill level of the other girls, and it showed in the dance. Not only that, but there wasn't a story there, and if there was, it wasn't portrayed well. And I can understand Nicaya's frustration because she lost, I mean all the girls get upset when they lose, however I don't think her behavior should in any way be excused. Unfortunately she is in an environment where jealousy and bitterness are encouraged behaviors, so it is not surprising that she'd behave this way. Cathy, as a dance teacher, should not allow her to behave this way even when she loses and neither should Nicaya's mother.

It has been said by lots of people there that EVERYONE was talking about how competitions were rigged in the ADLC's favor that day, even the ALDC moms. Nicaya was the only one shown in the show talking about it. And to people saying her solo was horrible and she was just jealous she lost to Kendall, 1) she was abandoned by Cathy and had to do most of her solo herself and 2) her reaction to Kendall winning was not what she was actually reacting to in reality, she was reacting to her own solo getting a special award.

The reason Nicaya was so shocked wasn't because Kendall got the award, it's because Nicaya got a special award she's never gotten. So the producers edited her being shocked to make it seem like it was because of Kendall getting the award.

If you go on the dance competitions website for that competition, you can literally see the awards and the fact that Kendall and Kaya weren't even competing together.
And she was saying she was pissed on behalf of the team because no matter how hard they worked or how much they deserved to win, they literally could not because the producers have an agreement with the dance competition and the ALDC had to win because it was their show, which is factually correct. Everybody in the competition agreed to it, but she was voicing that it still bothered her.

I will agree that sometimes I don't think the ALDC should have won a group dance over other studios, like MDP, but this is not one of those cases. One of the things that makes Abby's girls great id their ability to narrate a story through their dancing. This doesn't take away from the Candy Apple's girls' abilities at all mind you. Comparably, the Candy Apple's dance was technically harder, but not everyone was as technically advanced as they should have been for it. Again, I'm not trying to be rude, but from what I could see Vivi-Anne and Nicaya are not at the technical skill level of the other girls, and it showed in the dance. Not only that, but there wasn't a story there, and if there was, it wasn't portrayed well. And I can understand Nicaya's frustration because she lost, I mean all the girls get upset when they lose, however I don't think her behavior should in any way be excused. Unfortunately she is in an environment where jealousy and bitterness are encouraged behaviors, so it is not surprising that she'd behave this way. Cathy, as a dance teacher, should not allow her to behave this way even when she loses and neither should Nicaya's mother.

Okay Nicaya had somewhat of a point. Dance mom shows were designed to make their dancers win, even dancers on Instagram said that the comps were fake because even if they won they had to pretend that for example Maddie placed 1st.
Not really... it doesn’t make sense to use this argument against Kendall. Considering the many losses her (as well as many other members of the team) have gotten over the years, Kendall winning this comp wouldn’t have been because the judges were fangirling. Simply a difference in technique. BUT I’m pretty sure it was revealed they weren’t even competing in the same division anyways according to nicaya I believe, so it’s not much to bug about lmao. It has been said by lots of people there that EVERYONE was talking about how competitions were rigged in the ADLC's favor that day, even the ALDC moms. Nicaya was the only one shown in the show talking about it. And to people saying her solo was horrible and she was just jealous she lost to Kendall, 1) she was abandoned by Cathy and had to do most of her solo herself and 2) her reaction to Kendall winning was not what she was actually reacting to in reality, she was reacting to her own solo getting a special award.
