I like your philosophy about how a person should look *natural* post-op. My biggest fear in getting a facelift is looking like I had one and the two giveaways are the pulled mouth with the extended horizontal lines at the commissures and the disfigured ears.
Most surgeons who perform facelifts are aware of the corrrect vvectors to elevate the face without creating a wind-blown appearance.
@@drkopelman Thanks. I would *hope* so, but I'm on a face lift Facebook forum and I'm not happy with some of the results I'm seeing in regard to that.
I agree, especially regarding the disfigured ears, pulled almost sideways with completely amputated tragus 🤦🏻♀️
Always excellent doctor👍
Why don't you use the hemostatic net on the face as well?
The hematic net can be used on the face, neck and brow.
I have just had a deep plane 4 weeks ago now. I developed a hematoma and had to have boudets and then a mesh. I am now home recovering. I have 1 little lump which feels fluid but he says its fine. Is it normal to still have a lot of face swelling 4 weeks down the line. I just cant move much my fsce and though my dr says its normal...im still scared its not. My cheeks at the end stitches on the zygomastic area are still numb. Any of your knowledge would be grateful
Temporary numbness is a expected outcome of facelift surgery.Swelling in some patients can persist. There are many causes of the swelling and it is difficult to determine the cause without evaluating your face.
Doctor, what are the facelift options for bald men?
All options are on the table. You can still have a facelift even if you are bald and get superb results. It requires fine care with the incision and closure so that the facelift looks natural without any visible scars but completely possible to accomplish if you are bald.
