@@WW24343 that is extremely sad. That is why l hate politics. Good people with the opposite side of the same event became the worst enemy, incapable of looking beyond their noses for the good of the country and history.

Raymond Acquah, you have really helped in filling a lot of pot holes in our recent history, bringing voices which were not heard and versions which. I hope we'll also get more of what the National Union of Ghana students and the Professional Bodies Association and People's Movement for Freedom and Justice and others did during the period.

The soldiers that killed the army Commander were the same people that gave him a state burial. Rawlings later apologized. Hypocritical behaviour.

Red Baron was buried by the British army with full military honours during the first world wars. Why, because he was a gallant officer was died honourably on the battle field while carrying his duty with honour. Unlike many other officers that day, the late army commander died like an officer leading his men during arm conflict. Btw, he was the only senior officer to be buried with honour after that unfortunate conflict among brothers in arms.

Whatever that happened they did it for their own selfish interest, just look around bro these people that call themselves revolutionaries had a better life, they own companies, live in better mansions with their families, gave their wards the best of education and what have you whiles those that lost their parents are still suffering in life.

Maj Rida sounds like he's entitled, and this was the reason why JJ and co toppled them when they did!!
The corruption among the military government at that time still reeks
    Rida still don't get it!!

Mr General, what was the state of Ghana's economy handled by the Army Officers? Who noticing that they were becoming un-porpular handed over power to their colleagues under the pretence of 'Palace Coop' thinking of fooling Ghanaians. You can fool some people some of the time, but you cannot fool all the people at all times.

Major Rida is bitter because J.J. Rawlings overthrew his Uncle General F.W.K Akufo. Rawlings in his interview with kwaku Sakyi Addo shortly before he died, said that General Akufo and his Newphew Major Rida had enlisted him to drop a bomb on General Acheampong but when the time came, they chickened out.
