I had no idea that Peanut was a rescue from the side of the road. I know she is actually Jefe's, but Matt claims her. Great job saving her. She definitely fits right into the family.

It always amazes me just how easy the MORR crew makes this look. It takes watching someone that doesn't do it for you to realize how talented the all of the recovery crew are!
Just watch Matt try and drive down a plain old street. He's all over the place until he finds an obstruction to climb.
@@anotherdave5107 My Dad was the same way. He was an over the road semi trucker. He could get a semi almost any where, but couldn’t drive a car to save his life!

I'm often so very impressed with how generous Matt is. To let people learn in the equipment that is indispensable to his business is so beyond kind. He does so much more than anyone could expect. Thank you Matt for being such a great person. Thank you for your priorities 😊

How brave is Matt at letting others pedal the machines , remembering that they are his livelihood,any loss of one of them has an impact .
Interesting point about the throttle cable issue,and one may think that a in house build needs complete follow through by the original builder ,they have done things their way for a reason ,and then having another team work on it opens up the possibility of different thinking ,bit like Ford working on upgrades on a Tesla and vis versa
The fact that you can take a very inexperienced person out to the desert and make them look as if they've been wheeling for years is a testament to the Rigs you've built!! I say kudo's to you Matt and the whole MORR crew and I think you may have made a lifelong wheeler outta JP

As a huge fan of both Matt and Donut Media this was absolute thrill to watch both teams at work! Matt and the team truly build one of the kind rigs!
I've watched Matt and James for years now, and it has never dawned on me that they look so much alike. That's hilarious that they made a joke about it. I'm so happy for this collaboration. Also, Tom saying "We'll get 'em in" caught me by surprise and it was also genius in a hack way. Loved all of it!
Props to Matt for sticking with that and not kicking them out and doing it with his team when it got sketchy
Well, it was staged just for them to do something sketchy, and when it got sketchier he jumped in to help. I'm pretty certain that if it had happened during a real recovery, he would have told them to stand back and watch while his team did the job.

Well, Matt can't kick his son and his best friend out! I mean, you just don't kick family out when they are trying to learn something new...you teach them to do better.

Peanut definitely needs a gopro camera. She'd film circles around your camera crew, literally!
They tried a peanut cam. The footage was to bouncy and not viewer friendly.
Maybe the folks at PBS ' Animals with Cameras' could rig up a good Peanut experience. They can video from a wild cheetah in full chase - must have a steady-cam function.
Hands down my favorite collaboration on TH-cam ever! These are seriously my two favorite channels! My boys and I love getting home from Church on Sunday and watching Matt's Off Road Recovery and Donut Media.

I lost it when I saw the gas gauge judge point. Pure burn in the right way! Love this collab. And That First Run was perfect throttle control for a newbie.

SO GREAT to see Ed looking and sounding like Ed again. I have over 30 years in frontline health and I was starting to get worried.
How easily the guys were able to overcome obstacles is a testament to how well your rigs are setup and how well you know them and the trails. I love Ed’s commentary. 😂

Do you honestly believe that he doesn't take the hardest route to get to the stuck vehicle? Some of the videos he edits in trails or routes not even near the rescue.
Kinda like Swamp People. Do you really think hunting gators is like that? They fight with them and eveytime the shoot the water splashes them in the face? Hahaha. Dude, I've done it. Most of the time you ease them to the surface because they're already dead tired from trying to free themselves. Then -pop- and it's done.

@@GATORADDAM its easy only when you already know how to do it, like the example you gave. But its hard for others. The difference is knowledge AND experience.
The mighty Morvair makes even the inexperienced driver look good. Still shaking down the monster wrecker, hope to see it in top form soon.
I said it in the Donut video comments that I'm waiting for James to get that rock crawling fever. After watching this he definitely has it. Matt, I'm glad you were in the wrecker when it when haywire because that was scary.
For the final obstacle not only was the wrecker not able to be used, but Robby's limo also legitimately needed help after cracking shock mounts. Makes the finale way more impressive

Love the dudes from Donut Media and I'm a big fan of MORR, this was an awesome crossover that I really wasn't expecting! I know they rated the WLORR on the D-List series of TH-cam builds, but the chemistry between the teams was great!
This video reignited my joy I had with off roading that I lost in the past year big time.
It is always a treat to watch a man (Donut) who seems to be the type to approach anything full throttle and with a death wish in his heart. When that type is pleasantly humbled by a new horizon, and handles the challenge with caution and technical skill, instead of devil may care let's go full speed and see what happens.

Neat idea: Challenge Junkyard Diggs (another Donut collaborator) to build a barn find crazy off-road rig with Barnes, Donut, etc. Something as nuts as the Laymo perhaps? Could be a multi-channel, multi-partner collab-a-thon.

Horses do rock-crawl by design, you don't need to build them for that. 😀

Edit: I have to add that Edd is an animal. Love the man. He reminds me so much of my 91 y.o. father who is Marine and a retired over the road trucker. Salty as fu.... well you know. I moved into a new house, years ago and dad was there to help. The new neighbor was talking about how great of a driver he was. Dad told him, 'Well done big strapper, but I have pis**d on more pavement than you have driven'. It took me years to get good with that neighbor lol.
James has great throttle control. You can tell he is a driver. Well done dude, first time or not.
