Thanks for the lesson. Such a cool funky song. Question: I CAN play the chords and notes you lay out, but playing it with funky and consistent tempo is a challenge. Definitely doesn’t sound like the way you play it. Any tips on smoothing and refining the timing? Play with a metronome?
metronome metronome metronome!!! Step away from sand, practice strictly tempo and rhythm training with metronome, but utilize various speeds/tempos and time signatures. The better we get at the fundamentals of music, the easier it will be to apply in a practical/song setting!! Thanks Barrymohnfamily!
