I don't know the difference between wuxia and xianxia, but i love wuxia. I'm sure I'd like that genre too. I'm reading a book by Li Peifu right now called Graft in English. I am a big fan of Yu Hua and Mo Yan. Jin Yong's work is incredible!
@@bitsoflit There’s really not any big difference between xianxia and wuxia. I’d say the difference is that wuxia is more about martial arts while xianxia is about more about daoist techniques, power scales and lot higher in Xianxia as well (could be wrong but that’s my understanding) but they are very similar. I love them both, so awesome and different from anything else. There’s a lot of western authors that have started writing xianxia as well, Cradle by Will Wight for example is great.
I always love your reviews. The awkward dorkiness. Now reviewing the reviewer. The ending though 😄😄😄😄
Thanks. Loved it
Thanks you for putting the book together with Joshua! It was great! I look forward to your next piece of work.

I’m curious what you think about Xianxia and similar Chinese fiction? It’s one of my guilty pleasures.

I intend to talk more about Chinese fiction in the future.
