When I was a kid, and Luke told Threepio in A New Hope to “hit the accelerator”, I thought he said, “Let’s eat celery.” To hear Mark Hamill say he’s just gonna go home and eat celery unlocked some weird, technically incorrect nostalgia for me.
Harrison only came back because he was promised Han would die. In the original script of Return of the Jedi, Han died for the Rebel cause. Harrison really liked that idea but Lucas changed the script. Throughout the years till The Force Awakens Harrison has always expressed the sentiment that he liked that ending for Han more.
The scene on the Falcon is reminiscent of a dad threatening to pull the car over to get his two kids to stop arguing in the backseat. That last “HAAAAN! He licked my fries!!!” killed me 😂

Harrison only came back because he was promised Han would die. In the original script of Return of the Jedi, Han died for the Rebel cause. Harrison really liked that idea but Lucas changed the script. Throughout the years till The Force Awakens Harrison has always expressed the sentiment that he liked that ending for Han more.
