Thanks! I am glad this whole conflict is over. You know how 9yr olds can be. He is in BIG trouble for writing those curses to you and isn't going on the computer anytime soon! lol
Thanks for correcting me. And true; I always wondered how he'd sound like if he actually spoke more rather than only saying "Whoa!" as an exclamation. Well, usually he only babbles but at least he says a few clear words on occasion. Still though, its nice to hear Crash being more vocal than he was in the original games.
Yeah, like me. I played Crash 1 at 4, it was my first game. I loved the series since and I loved the new changes. It gave Crash cool powers and refreshed gameplay and designs. A lot of ideas could improve it too. I loved how they made everything new and unique again. It's sad that so few fans of the original liked the new. I mean it's not like they made it a party game and completely forgot the old gameplay (I'm talking about Rayman Raving Rabbids. And there's still platforming in the new games.
The mobile version is basically a 2D beat 'em up with some Crash elements and the take-over-enemy's-mind aspect. It's pretty polished, actually. The DS version is kinda like the older Crash games (I think) - Straightforward reach-the-end-of-the-level platforming, but with some enemies you'll have to beat up/probably take over.
You know... I agree. I do love simple adventure games, but I normally like battling adventure games more. You see, I sympatheize with you because I played a simple advent game that I loved once too. The game was Pikmin and it's sequel, but the reason I like Crash more is for my taste in fighting games and because I see that Crash has a lot of potential. Yeah, I know what you mean. I played DK64 when I was a kid, and loved it, but a few months back, I went back to play it and (continues)...
Not only that, but I think there should be upgrades, power-ups and unlockable variations of the spin attack. I imagined a huge tornado as a special attack for Crash in his own games. I had an idea where Crash would get Aku Aku on his face and Aku would contort to Crash's shape and give him power. Crash would get more acrobatic & faster moves, more powerful & complex combos. And elemental spins such as an ice, fire and wind variation. And then a Green one that'd finish with a super-powerful kick.
i think that new crash looks cooler then the other cuz ths is the evolution of crash,in crash ps2 games crash ever looks like the ps1 crash but when the changes are made Crash looks cooler
(continues) Since the car is designed to go faster. Similar to Crash... Sort of. The point is that Crash now has more attacks, more powers and half of the designs don't look too different. The only ones that are as different as people say are Aku, Uka, Tiny and N-Gin.
@JackBandicootsBunker I agree. They certainly needed more time with Mind Over Mutant. Unfortunately they were just wanting a cash cow and didn't allow them to give the games proper development time. Same thing happen to the Legend of Spyro series. I see. That's true. Mind Over Mutant doesn't always go back using the same roads to go back. Though it does sometimes.
@sora9922 I agree. But it's not that they talk louder, it's just more cutscenes for a more vivid story. Though they need to loosen up on the jokes. More abilities are better and using the Titans is a lot of fun. You could play as Coco in Wrath of Cortex, though this is more free-style. But only for the Wii/360 versions. And their designs. While most nostalgic gamers don't like it, many open-minded people don't mind the change, including me. They went for a modern look and I think they look cool.
@pkraccoon13 I think a little bit of both. There would be different types of Mojo and some multicolored types would be fuel for Crash's Aku mode, some other types would be money for merchants to give you and your Titans some armor, weapons like boxing gloves, maybe the bazooka, etc. The regular Mojo would unlock some moves, but the Gems would be needed to unlock other types of moves. That's my idea for them. What do you think?
@pk I said that already. Some boxing gloves for a little extra damage and slightly different moves and the bazooka. Not much more beyond that. I was thinking of using the yo-yo- as a weapon, but I don't know if that'd be cliched or not. I think using elements of Action, Adventure, platforming and RPG (EXP) would make a great game. The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon and Sonic Unleashed did it and that was excellent. The only thing is Crash would need more emphasis on platforming than Spyro.
@crazyworld014 Well he used a combination of the evolvo ray, and a new matter called "Mojo" to cease control of the mutants, and in MoM, cortex has full control you really should play the games, they're good if you give them a chance. . .
I always believed that Crash Bandicoot was a one-of-a-kind series that inspired many, & pleased many gamers with its breakthroughs in efffects & gameplay since '96. I always thought the Publishers would be the ones to destroy the series, but now I have to DEFEND ACTIVISION, because his fanbase is the problem, & its the same for Spyro & Sonic, they all just can't seem to move on... & I find it sad, because those games BELONG on Greatest Hits, but they'll never go back UNTIL the fans move on. . .
@kristijan791 thank you for understand my opinion on the mindjack crash series some other people's will keep bashing others even for there opinion or there point of view.
@pkraccoon13 The gameplay changed AND improved. Adding more moves and a unique and innovative gameplay mechanic (Jacking) is an improvement. Sure some things like the slide and sliding jump would have been good for the new games, but it was a work in progress until retros killed the games. These are underrated classics. They're unique and fun games. Being different is not bad.
@pkraccoon13 (Part 2) The Crystals could be used as damage upgrades or attack upgrades (such as making the spin, spikes and ice of Crash, Spike and Ratcicle respectively) while the Gems unlock more moves, such as an ice staff for the Ratcicle. What do you think of my ideas?
When did i say "us outcasts"? What's so wrong with the character remakes? 1 guy said that Nina's char redesign wasn't important because she wasn't made by ND. Who cares? ND doesn't own the world. What are you talking about? The only differences between the old and new Crash models are his mohawk (which looks pretty cool), tats, he's a little taller and no gloves. Saying "you can't beat the classics" is like sayng a racehorse can beat a race car. It doesn't make much sense since (continue).
When you think about it, the biggest reason buy these new Crash games is because of it's crash. Just like spyro and oddworld, and any other good old games that got sold.
Crash looks pretty good in this trailer, coco needed improvement, Crunch was cool, Aku i really didnt care for, Cortex looks alot like himself from CB3 since he got that blue hue back in his hair from that game, i really like where they went w/ uka, if they made the mask black, & the leaves orangy-yellow, he would've looked more like his old self (despite the change) NGin looks the same, minor skin & hair color change, Tiny wasnt good, nin looked fine, the characters were cool & G.P. was too.
@pkraccoon13 I'd imagine it purple. As for Titan boxing gloves, I had an idea for rock gloves for the Magmadon in similar fashion to the car gloves in The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction (interestingly a game made by the same company who made the Titan games). I heard Activision renewed the license for Crash's ownership, so they'll do something with it sooner or later. They're probably in the beginning stages of a new game right now. Possibly a sequel to the Skylanders series...
@pkraccoon13 That's probably true. A lot of people have different views due to nostalgial. It's very common. Oddly enough, it never happened to me, but I can still feel nostalgic without wanting to relive the past (in video games. In life it's slightly different). I believe the new games should be thought of as classics in the way MediEvil 1 and 2 are. But the series in general with all it's games are classics to me. They're all unique and are great fun in one way or another.
What is wrong with people these days? "New Crash sucks." Why? becayse he looks different? Who cares? Or who SHOULD care? And when someone senible like ThePortalleGames comes and says something positive, he gets thumbed down way too much. He DOES look cooler. Not so much in this cutscene because the graphics make him look like he has orange skin, but in the actual games, he looks good.
not to mention.. I think they should come out with some ps3 versions.. The graphics could be great like the cut scenes in Twinsanity.. Those were really good graphics and would look awesome for ps3
@NinjaStarz50 Exactly. This is because of new times with new technology. "Fans" just are about nostalgia. Not Crash growing up into a combat-platformer as he should be. :/ Hopefully the new generation that grows up with Crash now will enjoy him. Too bad they'll get flak from fans who don't know how to take change.
@kristijan791 All I was saying is that the Crash of today isn't the same Crash from the 90's in no way at all. Just because it's the same name doesn't mean its the same game. So people who don't like newer Crash games aren't haters of Crash, they're haters of how horribly developers chose to develop the newer games which makes them nothing like the successful Crash games of the 90's.
@RINGMASTER1118 Exactly! 06' was... Okay, I guess. It suffered from little development time more than anything else, but it could have been good with more time. Rings is alright with me, I like it better than 06', but it's not my type of game. Black Knight was more palatable to me since it seemed to improve the formula.
@shane121101 why? because the series has been dropped and they no longer make the games? or because you can move on, so you take it upon yourself to deny the future and what it holds?
@yoyoyo88665 No problem man. Never listen to haters. They just judge games by what the older titles were and hate on the new ones for not being an exact copy. This game has some flaws, but it's still good. Pleae also check out it's sequel, called Mind Over Mutant. Also a great game, with better gameplay and returning to great music. But it's a bit short, so probably worth a rent. Just saying.
I don't believe you got thumbs downed! What brats. They don't want any else to say something that THEY donn't like. I thought we lived in the "free" world, not the 'you don't agree with us, your an outcast' world. I agree with you anyway. His battle cries were just weird, his babbling suits him more because he's silly, but he shouldn't talk like a human IMO.
@crazyworld014 Crash has always had comedy. That was a staple from the beginning. It just seeped into the characters. Tiny was always a comedy character, being dumb muscle. The only real problem, character-wise in the Radical games is that they focus too much on comedy instead of making it feel more real and vivid. If they dropped the comedy more, but everything else they did kept in, it would feel better. The gameplay is a great concept, but needs to evolve more. More moves, innovations, etc.
Yes, but they not only changed the designs but the genre. it's now a fighting game, so it doesn't appeal to the audience the classic crash games did. therefore, they complain that the game isn't as fun to them.
@fareedbakhit A game with no combat, basic moves, and linear path levels . . . will NOT sell against other games out currently. Face it the '90's crash DOES NOT belong in the 2000's!
@fareedbakhit *Facepalm* Pressing circle doesn't make it a copy. If anything, God of War 3 copied Crash by controlling Cyclopi and Cerberi. Crash dodges an attack in the same manner as Prototype 2 made by the same company). You don't touch the stick and have to wait for them to attack before you can dodge. It's similar in CONCEPT, but a very different mechanic in feel. Mojo upgrades you automatically. You buy upgrades with Red Orbs. Compare GOW to Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, not Crash.
@yoyoyo88665 True. Any fan of any series who doesn't like it for changing ONLY for changing needs to stop taking meth or whatever. I mean, if you hate it, use a damn good reason. Not the "They look and act different" or "teh gaemplay's dumb" excuses. People's reasons for hating old mascots from the 90s are ridiculous.
@pkraccoon In Mind Over Mutant, the platforming-combat ratio was roughly 50/50, but the platforming itself was pitiful. Better platforming, say Ratchet & Clank-esq would be great. I think Crash needs more moves, the Titans need real upragdes, and I can imagine the slide being a good move to return. The Gems & Crystals could be very useful in gameplay if done right. It's a dream of mine too. I can imagine Crash using Scorporilla or Yuktopus as his Final Smash. Crash would be great for Smash Bros.
@Securitron343 But then it would be so simple. I mean the Titans have the best moves and abilities. Sure, Crash should have more moves and tools like the Bazooka and also new ideas (like an item which functions like the invsibility crate, except it's a temporary device) and they could also bring back stuff to complexify the gameplay like the slide and Crystals and Gems for actualy gameplay use, but using only Crash would still be less unique than keeping the Titans mechanic.
@theskitone AH HA!!! Right there you left out Twinsanity, what you people cant accept is This: Crash Twinsanity was made to restore crash, they brought back new characters and gave crash a modern look, controls and free roaming, and what does he get a 3.5/10!!!!!!!! The naughty dog fanboys who cant accept the slightest change are the reason crash is ending up where he is! and crash's personality is great, he can babble instead of being completely silent, (pt1/2)
@kristijan791 The thing about that is that activision didn't even make the original Crash games. They were made by Naughty Dog, who has a seriously bad track record of three games and then a new franchise when they get so many people to enjoy that specific series. I wouldn't hate Crash at all if people didn't keep coming up with the idea of art changes and things like that. I'm not a hater of games who actually take the time to make a good game. Not just make a game because it'll make money.
@xShesSoRecklessx ... Is this an illusion? Or has a GOOD comment actually been posted on this video? I hope so, because I'm sick of people whining about Crash and hating on it. How they can even call themselves fans is unbelievably disgusting to me...
ive played the olds and the new ones, they both are cool. u just grew up with bandicoot, i mean, if this were the only crash at 90s, when new ones come out you would say they suck.
I just love 2 see Crash it was mi childhood never forget XD
Thanks! I am glad this whole conflict is over. You know how 9yr olds can be. He is in BIG trouble for writing those curses to you and isn't going on the computer anytime soon! lol

I agree. Crash Bandicoot has a lot of potential to be much more than simply an enjoyable video game series.

Perfect, I love crash since small, very good the trailer and the game too ^ ^
this game is awesome ! get in the shop to buy it!
The best video ever!
omg!! lemme play this game... i just missed neo cortex. i love playing CTR..... loving polar... hola!! :D
I've played and beat Crash Of The Titans at it's hardest and never saw this.
Agreed and don't even get me started in Tiny Tiger
I think the new character designs look cool! I like Crash with tattoos!
(Part 3 and Sorry for the long message) Thank you for respecting me and my opinions.
i miss the old crash and spyro 3: but im somewhat glad the game did not just die out, it died slowly
i think that new crash looks cooler then the other cuz ths is the evolution of crash,in crash ps2 games crash ever looks like the ps1 crash but when the changes are made Crash looks cooler
It's certainly worth a look.

Yep. That's right. No doubt about it.

That's my idea for them. What do you think?
i dont knw guys, i have lots of older crash games but i think he looks cooler now... i like those tatoo things on his hands too... :P
yeah thats what I am wondering
Awesome really funny too.
i just found a mario refferance if you jump on a ratnition alot he says "who do you think you are? an italian plumber?" :D
@pk I said that already. Some boxing gloves for a little extra damage and slightly different moves and the bazooka. Not much more beyond that. @crazyworld014
Well he used a combination of the evolvo ray, and a new matter called "Mojo" to cease control of the mutants, and in MoM, cortex has full control you really should play the games, they're good if you give them a chance. . .
no you remember muka muka thats the 1 from ps1/ps2 era. this is his cousins aku aku, and the evil one is ooka ooka lol
wacting this makes me cry :(
I find it funny that about 95% of the comments say that they hate the new crash but this vid still has more likes than dislikes 0-_-0

WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO MY CRASH!
+TCgiusti ikr
He got cool tattoos, lost his cheesy 90's gloves, and is wearing a sick pair of converse. Honestly he got better.
they should totally make a crash bandicoot show.
hey guys if you listen closely at some parts you can hear crash actually saying things in real words!
Let me see if I have enough points...
*ka-ching*
There you go. Give him a good one.
yea he does say that. crash can talk a little
@crazyworld014
because cortex has access to the Evolvo Ray from crash bandicoot 1
The mobile and DS versions were pretty good. :3
The same person has been voicing coco since 2001.

OMG! Crash was doing the splits at 1:18!
Aku Aku sounds like Grim off The Grim adventures of Billy and Mandey
Na minha opinião, é um excelente Crash!
Making epic games like Uncharted 1 and Uncharted 2 that already won 3 GOTY awards.
When you think about it, the biggest reason buy these new Crash games is because of it's crash.
Just like spyro and oddworld, and any other good old games that got sold.
He came up awhile back. I merely made a counter point on it.

@pkraccoon13 That's probably true. A lot of people have different views due to nostalgial. It's very common. how come it says iGN on the bottom but its not on the actual IGN website:(
Am I the only one who thinks Aku Aku sounds awesome with the voice of Grim?
yeah...,i dont know if the creators really matter, but i support your opinion
mi infancia
the old crash bandicoot owns the new one bigtime.
not to mention..
I think they should come out with some ps3 versions.. The graphics could be great like the cut scenes in Twinsanity.. Those were really good graphics and would look awesome for ps3
@NinjaStarz50 Exactly. This is because of new times with new technology. "Fans" just are about nostalgia. RIP Crash Bandicoot 1996-2007
I know! I wish I can go back to when the worse thing kids said were "poop".
Crash's new model is pro
Y'know, it's funny that Coco didn't hear Crash hit the glass.
@fareedbakhit
A game with no combat, basic moves, and linear path levels . . . will NOT sell against other games out currently.
Compare GOW to Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon, not Crash.
you can download any game for crash in pc but you need pscx2
it sure is
I might have been hearing things, but it sounded to me like Crash said "What was that?" at 2:14!
crash talks. CRASH TALKS. CRASH TALKS AND HE SAYS WORDS?!
@DelutionalPerfection its called wumpa island now
cool
@Securitron343 But then it would be so simple. I mean the Titans have the best moves and abilities. Sure, Crash should have more moves and tools like the Bazooka and also new ideas (like an item which functions like the invsibility crate, except it's a temporary device) and they could also bring back stuff to complexify the gameplay like the slide and Crystals and Gems for actualy gameplay use, but using only Crash would still be less unique than keeping the Titans mechanic.
crash said "wumpa" and "look out below".
here lies crash bandicoot 1996-27 R.I.P
Idc what ppl says. This game and mind over mutant was an Good game so as the old ps2/1 series
@theskitone
AH HA!!! Right there you left out Twinsanity, what you people cant accept is This: Crash Twinsanity was made to restore crash, they brought back new characters and gave crash a modern look, controls and free roaming, and what does he get a 3.5/10!!!!!!!! The naughty dog fanboys who cant accept the slightest change are the reason crash is ending up where he is! and crash's personality is great, he can babble instead of being completely silent, (pt1/2)
aku aku was right they did mean busyness and if you like to see more go to the monster truck one
he says also "look out below"
