Such a different GC from about 10 yrs ago in 70s - so kind of upset, uptight and not smiling - he was softer and healthier looking before. He was attractive when young, he kind of lost that look as he got older.
Does anyone recall a woman being killed live on air doing the same catapult stunt. It was on one of Noel Edmonds' shows, horrible little cretin that he is. All I remember is the stunt was all set to go the camera was on her and then it suddenly cut back to the studio with a stressed looking Edmomnds on camera. Apparently what happened was the woman hit the jib of the crane and was killed instantly. I recall reading about it in a newspaper, but it was a small article on the side of one page. Must have been kept pretty hush hush.
It was 'The Late Late Breakfast Show', and was a man, rather than a woman, Michael Lush. Terrible tragedy, even more so when the inquest discovered a ridiculous number of safety issues with the stunt. Googling either the show, or the man will give details for anyone who wants them.
Thanks a bunch :D Graham is wonderful.
Thank you so much for posting this!!!
Thanks a million.
Thanks for this!
