Today i take apart a video from BP Visits as he takes a look at Markham Vale Environment Centre in Markham Vale, S44 5HY
This is not the whole video. I have pulled it apart and added in my own thoughts and opinions on segments. This is in no way my own original work and i take nothing away from BP Visits or any other Auditor who's work i cover. They do a great job and should get all the credit.
Please keep in mind these are my own personal thoughts, doubtless you will not agree with any or all of them, please feel free to express yourself in the comments.
to see the whole original video (as long as it has not been taken down) here
• YOU CALM YOURSELF DOWN...
and do also pay BP visits a visit on his youtube channel for loads more content here - / @bpvisits .
Hopefully you enjoy watching my take on this video and i look forward to reading the comment's, if you enjoyed watching then please hit that subscribe button so you can keep an eye out for my next video. this helps me grow the channel and bring you more content.
private council land is a misnomer
Agreed, and yet it was referred to as just that. thanks for the comment
*@Auditing The Auditors* Mate, I am 100% behind people filming. However, you said one thing which is incorrect.
8:47 "GDPR does not apply to members of the public" - yes it does. There are exceptions, but your blanket claim is flat-out wrong.
09:26 "If you're gonna start spouting stuff like this, then you really do need to learn it" - please don't be hypocritical.
09:43 "If you don't know, don't really start making claims to other people"
GOOGLE "does gdpr apply to members of the public".
Cheers.
i never claim to know all about GDPR, i make a point to say i know very little on the subject but you have your opinions and you are entitled to them. i thank you for the comment.
@@ATA-Armchair.Auditor It's not my opinion; it's an easily verifiable fact.
The problem with GDPR is that people always think they understand it and they are right. But I agree, GDPR does not apply to private individuals. It applies to companies and organisations. And by "company" I'm talking about someone registered at companies house.
Well said, thanks for the comment
Why do you think that someone recording personal data, uploading it to monetised YT channel that generates someone an income, there a business, doesn't make that person subject to GDPR as a sole trader?
@@Dean-t9g With GDPR, it is the responsibility of the company to ensure that all private or personal data should never be able to be freely accessed by unsecured people, if the company is not doing its job properly then that needs highlighting and reporting.
TH-camrs dont sell the videos, their income comes from adverts youtube insert into them so they still come under the heading of citizen journalism or just a pain in the ass, depending on who you speak to :)
*@bowman4275* You are wrong.
Please, please, google it. You'll find out, within seconds, that GDPR does apply to private individuals.
