UPDATE: the Dometic 320 works with quite a few different bidet seats without the need for a kit, you just need the T. It's also an elongated toilet, so you'll gain more sittable space.
Good to know! I would have thought the permanent ceramic hump behind the seat would have interfered. Do you know what the spacing is between the bolt centers and the hump? Any recommendations for bidets that will fit?
I made my own vacuum breaker extension by getting clear tubing from Home Depot, it comes in a roll of 10ft, I got the 3/4in outer diameter (od) and 5/8 inner diameter (id), it’s a vinyl kind of tubing. It tightly slips over the vacuum breaker and fits tightly in the rubber bushing on the toilet. It is a bit hard to get onto both and what makes it easier is to pull the gasket off the toilet put the tube through and then squeeze the gasket back in. The tube is a little flimsy especially if you’re squishing it to try and get it onto both ends but it fits so snuggly you don’t even need any clamps.
Your video is very informative. We use Bio Bidet BB 2000 at home and I would like to install one on our 2020 Tiffin Allegro Bus in our rear Dometic macerator toilet. The Dometic toilet appears to have seat bolts on 7.5" centers and the normal, domestic toilet seat appears to be mounted on 5.5" centers. Do you sell an adaptor mounting plate or do you have any ideas for mounting a domestic bidet on a Dometic macerator toilet? Thanks very much for your help.
On the 310, the back comes off, but the back of the 320 is built into the toilet, so there's no removing it. However, we have found that select bidet seats work on the 320 without removing the back (the Cascade 3000 being one of them) Let me know if you have any other questions!
Why doesn't the bidet need a vacuum breaker like the toilet water in flow to the bowl? Is there a risk of backflow from the bidet? Does the bidet have internal valves to address this and make a vacuum breaker unnecessary?
Most electric bidets have some sort of backflow prevention built into the seat. Sometimes that is built into the solenoid or in other parts of the seat. Reach out to us directly for more details on this if you would like.
We have had luck with the Cascade 3000 and GoBidet working on some Dometic models, but the 510+ appears to have a non-removable hump at the back that might make it difficult to pair a bidet with.
Quick question ... I currently have a Brondell LE89 for round residential toilet bowls in my home. Would this bidet model fit on the Dometic 310 toilet? Any and all guidance is much appreciated!
It's possible, but without testing, we couldn't say for sure. We know the following will work well for sure: Cascade 3000 Bidet Seat: www.manybidets.com/product/cascade-bidet-3000/ Blooming R1063 Bidet Seat: www.manybidets.com/product/blooming-bidet-r1063/ If you're looking for a more affordable option the blooming is a great choice. We can offer pretty substantial discounts on it as well.

@@ManyBidets is there any complete toilet that we could replace it with that has a macerator?
@@MrMrWrench Sadly there is not :-(
@@ManyBidets Thanks very much for your quick response and help. Great videos.
does the back valve cover on a dometic 320 come off on all of them? it looks to me that it's all one piece to the bowl when you take the seat of?
in the video you call it the back portion

I want a warm water bidet for my Dominic 510+ RV toilet what can I use and is it hard to hook up?

Hi I would like to know what the sizes of the two pipe extender pieces are that fit into the Dometic 310, it would be appreciated.
I'll look that info up, and let you know. Thanks for asking!
Also, we recently found that these seats work on the dometic 320 without the need for an adaptor :-)

What if there is no electrical plug on the wall by the toilet?

Thanks for the video, that's a lot valuable informations, would you tell me if the TOTO washlet will fit on a dometic 320?
You should be able to make the TOTO units work on the dometic 320 with the space that's available in the back of that toilet.
Of course they select a $900 seat...
