Thanks for the content! I am a big fan of Gouging Fire! Do you think you can make a complete video for this deck ? It would be awesome. Congrats and big up from Belgium!
I love Dusknoir in my Charizard ex deck, it’s bailed me out a few times. Any deck built to play from behind really benefits from cards like Dusclops/Dusknoir and Briar. A lot of fun.
@@faeezzulfiqar5023Personally for the deck, I prefer Prime Catcher. Given this decks search ability, being able to manipulate you opponents active Pokémon has proven more useful than drawing. Now with Budew coming in Prismatic Evolutions, I can see a spot for Grand Tree, but currently I only play two stage 1 pokemon in this deck, the one Charmeleon and the one Dusklops. A lot of versions of this deck only have the single stage 1. I think that in the end, I’d stick with Prime Catcher though, as Charmander has enough juice to deal with Budew without needing to worry about your Rare Candies becoming ineffective. If anything, I think if you’re only running 5 energy you may want to find a way to get that sixth in the deck somehow. After rotation (probably in March) there will be plenty of room for manipulation of the deck.
Dragapult ex has a ton of potential for the next few months until rotation. Budew does present a few problems for stage 2 decks, but I think right now it’s a little overblown. There are answers.
@@s7121n9s the amount of single prize's predators will be heavily reduced, leaving only Dragapult and maybe Hydreigon if the time comes by for the deck
what happened to chien pao ex decks? I have not been following pokemon TCG since 151 and now I was hoping to return and play again with an updated chien pao deck
The list in the description for charizard is not the same one as shown on screen. Your list in the description has it running lost vacuum instead of manaphy
I can consider to integrate 1 roaring moon ex in my ancient box to deal with high HP 2 prize pokemon as i had the hard time when my ancient box took on regidrago, dragapult, charizard, archaludon due to i was unable to one shot the high hp pokemon
horrible into single prize attack decks...IE a majority of this upcoming regs meta. klawf, garde, lost box all clap the decks cheecks. it also struggles into draga thorns and zard. its best match here is quad thorns stall and ragidraco. not that it matters as regidraco is so mid that any deck here clap the deck if played correctly.
Spoiler Alert!

Thanks again for the great content Zach!
Appreciate it!
Thanks for the content! I am a big fan of Gouging Fire! Do you think you can make a complete video for this deck ? It would be awesome. Congrats and big up from Belgium!
Id love to if I get the chance! thanks for the support
You da man Zach, thanks for always posting good stuff
much appreciated
That Exeggutor ex makes it such a great deck against mimikyu - cornerstone ogerpon
oh ya! just gotta watch out for mist
I love Dusknoir in my Charizard ex deck, it’s bailed me out a few times. Any deck built to play from behind really benefits from cards like Dusclops/Dusknoir and Briar. A lot of fun.
What should i use? Prime catcher/ grand tree or unfair stamp?
@@faeezzulfiqar5023prolly stamp
@@faeezzulfiqar5023 Usually Zard runs Stamp or Trolley
very good deck
Dragapult ex has a ton of potential for the next few months until rotation.
Budew does present a few problems for stage 2 decks, but I think right now it’s a little overblown. There are answers.
True - there are definitely counters
Yo zach see you in Toronto 🎉
how did the event go for you?
New to the TCG but I'm going to throw my prevote for ancient lost box cuz it was the last deck I was watching a video on
facts!
Every time I encountered a Gholdengo deck this week I got pounded into component atoms. I need to find a serious counter.
for sure
Ancient box
Thank you
Np! Keep an eye out for more!
And here i am wanting to play Festival Lead and United Wings lol
Better when Regidrago rotates
@themiarte1125
I sure hope so!
@@s7121n9s the amount of single prize's predators will be heavily reduced, leaving only Dragapult and maybe Hydreigon if the time comes by for the deck
@@themiarte1125
Those 2 are my last favorable match up. Rabsca is basically auto required
fun decks
I’m shocked about no Maridon 😮
It has like 45% win ratio in online tournaments, which is really bad
only 2 in day 2 of Toronto out of 2200 competitors
this
what happened to chien pao ex decks? I have not been following pokemon TCG since 151 and now I was hoping to return and play again with an updated chien pao deck
top 30 or so decks
The list in the description for charizard is not the same one as shown on screen. Your list in the description has it running lost vacuum instead of manaphy
might've been a c/p issue. thanks for noticing
Keep it up
When it comes to regidrago, I’m kinda torn between Jamming Tower and Haxorus. Thoughts?
both are solid. you can defs change 1-ofs in the deck to fit the meta
I can consider to integrate 1 roaring moon ex in my ancient box to deal with high HP 2 prize pokemon as i had the hard time when my ancient box took on regidrago, dragapult, charizard, archaludon due to i was unable to one shot the high hp pokemon
Roaring Moon is a beast, for sure
Curious what's gonna go down after the format change so many decks gonna get busted apart 😕😢
same here
I’m surprised ceruledge isn’t in this and raikou/miraidon
top 20 decks
What about raging bolt?
Thorns and Guarde prolly destroy it
It’s doodoo butter
horrible into single prize attack decks...IE a majority of this upcoming regs meta. klawf, garde, lost box all clap the decks cheecks. it also struggles into draga thorns and zard. its best match here is quad thorns stall and ragidraco. not that it matters as regidraco is so mid that any deck here clap the deck if played correctly.
@@chaosinfernoid9008 thorns isnt that strong into the bolt match.
probs in the top 15
And raging Bolt?
in my video today!
I thought it was max 20 cards in a deck how is there so many in these? (Im a new player)
that's for Pokemon Pocket, this is Pokemon TCG
Iron Thorns Dragapult is the best of both worlds
facts
what do you believe its the best deck for begginers?
probably ceruledge
Big up to Zach Lesage
goat
Hate roaring moon ancient box smh
:(
Rotation is coming in march, every silver tempest will no longer be usable in standard, so bye bye lugia decks, and I wanted to play that deck :/
expanded Lugia?
Why didnt you put raging bolt
Did you even pay attention to the intro?
