    You have know idea how helpful you are about to be. And I would like to start seeing more people post more videos of the damn Jimmy's cuz it is slowly becoming a growing community and I would like to start seeing more aftermarket performance parts. This car/suv/truck is a classic and should come back there's a small community for this vehicle but nobody wants to find an aftermarket part Creator to create parts.

      Me and my son are going to fix up his new (to him) 95 S10. I am hoping that we can eventually upgrade parts to have a father/son project truck with lots of upgrades on these older, but less thought about small pickups.

    Just performed the same repairs yesterday. Haven't hooked everything back up yet, doing that today. Hopefully it fires up!🤞.
    On the chevy vortec 4.3l there is a fuel pump power jumper line on the driver side so you can run power straight to the fuel pump without turning the key to check for leaks.

      @CDSAutomotiveGarage you definitely did!! I had the truck running, but too rich and dumping/smelling gas...your video directed to me to the issue. I hooked everything up, and unfortunately, it won't start....it's raining and very humid, so I think the distributor has moisture since I left the cap off for a week. I will test spark, timing, and recheck the 3rd plug because it was dumping gas from the pressure regulator into the passenger side and the main gas (pressure) hose on the driver side. Thank you for this video because it showed the internal hoses and pointed the way! This is my son's first truck, and I am praying that I can get this S10 running top notch 👌. Low miles and supper clean pickup.

    Spider is now obsolete. You can now only send yours in to GB in California through rock auto for under 200.00 or spend about 600.00 elsewhere

    • @KnuckleHeadGarage27

      That's just stupid . If this ever happens again it's most definitely getting a carb intake swap or the later model tbi 4.3 style swapped on it cause the spider design is dangerous and very common for failure

    • @TheFixerFlipper

      I was looking for a new/reman one for literally 6 months couldn’t find it for less than $600 elsewhere all the sudden on CarID there was 2 available and I got 1 and the next morning the other one was sold out 😂😂😂 $200 for it

    • @TheFixerFlipper

      You can get a Holly Sniper intake and distributor which would be a nice setup but expensive then you can tune the truck as well

    • @KnuckleHeadGarage27

      Yeah that would be nice for sure but yeah those aren't cheap at all . Definitely will be swapping to a carb or find a later model TBI s10 95+ with this style 4.3 and swap it all and be done and be able to find parts

    • @TheFixerFlipper

      @@KnuckleHeadGarage27 That’s the way to go. They are good trucks just have a good amount of common issues. All easy and cheap to fix for the most part. Better than spending $15k+ on something new and still having to fix/maintain that. Plus man is it cool to be able to keep old stuff on the road. My daily is a 94 S10 ext cab. Love it!

    The problem that i have, is the truck will not go when i put the gas peddle all the way down in first gear, and the higher gears will only go if i press the gass all the way down. Would you think its something to do with gas?

    • @KnuckleHeadGarage27

      Yes it does because of fuel pressure there is a regular built inside that spider block in the middle . The ecm controls when each little injector fires

But blazers have a Rear F tank of course so it runs close to that where the rear leaf springs are at .
