- Blausee lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Switzerland. The lake's fantastic, crystal-clear, blue-green water with the many trout in it is a big attraction in the Bernese Oberland and draws many visitors every year.
This mystical lake is located near Kandersteg and is surrounded by a wonderful natural park with large boulders.
Right by the lake is a small hotel with a restaurant where you can enjoy the delicious trout from the in-house fish farm. Lake Blausee provides the ideal habitat for rainbow and salmon trout: The lake's clean mountain spring water is of excellent quality and feeds the trout farm

Yes, i think autumn is the best time but it's also great in summer time because there is a beautiful forest with many big rocks around and it's not too hot ;-) The trouts a really Yummy!!!
