The cake if you put them in the freezer for 5 minutes, you can iced them first coat, put back in freezer for 5 minutes and you can iced them with no crumbs at all and so easy to iced

Does your buttercream ever leave a grease stain on those paper liners? I find those hard to use sometimes cus of that residue, not hard to use but it gives me an itch.

May I ask a genuine question is it better to layer your cakes whole, I am just assuming that is how it is done so sorry if I am wrong. Or would it be better to half them for more filling? I am trying to learn from watching your videos…..lol
i think you can do it either way, don't think there's no wrong or better, i do think cutting the cakes in layers first then adding the cream on is better in my opinion, especially if you want to add additionally filling like fruit or jam then i think it's better to cut in layers first.

It’s totally up to you- whatever your preference is. Layering the cakes just means you get more filling in there, plus a liiiittle extra height to the cake overall!

Normally I use American buttercream but in this video I’m using Swiss meringue buttercream!

How comes you didnt crumb coat then put in the fridge before applying another coat?
I usually skip the crumb coat to save time!
