This is terrific! I'm planning my tour and I definitely want to see how this is shaping up. I LOVE the design!

Hi Elizabeth, I'm sorry to hear about the destruction of the native plant gardens. That is sad. I hope you have better long-term luck with the garden you are creating now in Stockton. Warmly, Kathy Kramer

Where not able to get any Calif natives in Yuba City Ca. Why doesn’t Lowe’s and Home Depot carry them.

You'll be happy to here that the California Native Plant Society has just started a new program, Bloom! California, to get native plants carried by mainstream nurseries. You can find more about it here: bloomcalifornia.org/?CA&

Because they're not industrial, the best practice is to grow and plant what is locally native. Lowe's etc cannot handle this. Check with your local California Native Plant Society. They usually have a plant sale annually where the right plants for your place are available.

The video makes me dizzy- too much movement all around.

HI Chitra - This video was streamed on Zoom; it was the first year we were making videos (spring of 2020, as the pandemic was approaching). Check out the other videos on the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour's TH-cam site - but only watch videos made in 2021 or later - they are actual pre-recorded videos, and have much better quality (and less rapid movement).
