1. The artform of freestyle hiphop is now well monetized for some, and especially Harry Mack.
2. Time + Skill + Knowledge + Experience = Better than yesterday.
3. Obsession?
Basically what that means, is that he can do this 24/7/365 if he wants to. And he already has put in far more than 10,000 hours of drums, reading and hiphop. Probably he is nearing the 30k hours mark now.
It’s noticeable from week to week. It’s unbelievable.

@@whosbetter5807 I just treat it as two different art forms now. There is freestyle and there is off-the-top freestyle. I just accept that freestyle is usually written and enjoy them for what they are. Because if I compare them to what Harry does then it will ALWAYS be underwhelming.
It is like racing. There is the kind of racing that Usain Bolt did and there is the kind of racing they do in formula 1 race cars. They are both racing, but they are VERY different types of racing. Maybe it is a bad analogy, but it is the best I got at the moment.

But I still believe we’ll see some others come out and there’s a lot of old school freestyle off the top songs that people have done in one take and their like Shakespeare esque poetry.
Mack can do it, I like the way he did souliliquies, but it’s not the style he’s doing mostly.

Same. Perfect beat for him, but the tempo was much faster than most boom bap beats. it was basically Harry going off on boom bap at 1.5 speed. and the “cardiac arrest ya/something like a Tesla” part was so fucking hard.
Im sure Harry was great in it, but i think that one was the only H mack song i've skipped, i can't listen through it even if i try my hardest. H mack was no doubt fire as always, just that beat was as far away from my cup of tea as you can come lol

That first freestyle was fire my favorite Harry Mack freesytyles I seen yet insane reminded me of all my favorite old school rappers all in one freestyle
Every episode is just more and more insane just when you thought it may no longer be possible. HMack just snapped on the first segment completely, the cadence and rhyming scheme is absolutely insane, off the dome; it is so difficult to do I can't even. And the cherry on top is the basketball scheme with Hakeem. Incredible as always!

One things for certain, Stevie loves cadences. Knew he was going to love the build up to the GOAT scheme.
He gets noticeably better with each one. He been crazy, but he used to say "H-Mack" every few bars to reset so he didn't have to connect the schemes. He does that less now and it flows a lot better.

We're all just running out of words to describe Mack he's that good, he was spazzing on this one Stevie. The man just instantly puts a smile on your face and thats what matters. Making people happy. There is a difference between independent artists who don't or do want to make industry products, and people who have the privilege to exploit the modern world and elevate underground art styles.
Harry Mack has chilled with or been listened to by King Los, Kendrick Lamar, Joey Badass, and many others. And he has gotten nothing other than respect for his craft or valid criticism.
Fuck the industry. This is decentralized entrepeneurialship. And an artist collective.

I assume it is at least somewhat comparable to the cognitive effort necessary for simultaneous interpretation. It's hard enough to hear and instantly repeat a spoken text in the same language. But throwing a language transfer in between hearing and speaking, while keeping the delay as close to zero as possible **really** hard and stress inducing. Add to that the fact that this is usually only done for quite important occasions. I know because I tried my hand at that and ultimately decided that I will not earn my money this way.
