Ur in luck! The new armor changes makes slayer fighter even better now. Padded tunic is the way along with heavy leather leggins for even more tankiness and hp. Now we can at least be semi tanky and not get 2 shot, meanwhile still dishing out insane damage up close. 😎
Love slayer, dual wield. My two builds I’ve been messing with is all agility and action speed arming sword/ short sword and bow, it’s so fast it’s disgusting, and adrenaline spike works with bows. And a strength build using falchion hand crossbow and windlass(cheap purples) with victory strike. Windlass hits for around 150 to the head with VS.
Weapon mastery + Kriss and you're set Kriss dagger 3rd and 4th attack animation are pretty much instant, the slayer perk do wonders for those fast hitting weapons.
Fr, I actually run castillion and that shit slaps on the 3rd hit.. It synergizes well with the combo attack perk along with the extra 150% bonus dmge on the 3rd atk of castillion dagger. Ppl dont expect it to do that much burst so fast.
If youre mainly using one weapon to fight with grabbing a lighter alternate weapon can help your mobility.l Horse/Short as opposed to Horse/Hatchet. Tried Rapier/Hatchet for the lols wasn't too bad having the option to stab or swing 1st swing. anyone know if using both weapons in a combo seperately is different than using the combo you get from holding down both weapon attacks? if my question is a little confusing basically jw difference comboing using left click > left click > right click vs using the combo you get from holding down both left/right click, only tried it one time and it would repeat the combo Hatchet > Rapier > Rapier > dont member if there was a 4th lol holding down both
They have removed the Rusty Key room completely for now. It doesnt have a use other than currency atm… im assuming they are gonna add a Rusty Key room after the next whipe again
I did a naked slayer run the other day as a joke just to die and get my starters bandage (i was brand new to fighter and just using starter stuff still) and ended up extracting 4 times and banking 1k.
Duos looks like fun actually! Interesting to see the Slayer in action, don't often meet them
Yeah duos can be a lot of fun, need it on normal map tho
I do enjoy the dual wield fighter playstyle. It would be nice to have some better options for armor though

Oh my I never knew it worked with bows that's kind of crazy actually! I'll need to give that a go

i like the horsmans axe and the hatchet combo its really fun to chop and it seems to blend well and fast

There are some combos in the game yeah but it takes some experimenting. I can't remember them off the top of my head
Rusty key room got removed.
Just used as currency now, somepeople are betting on it returning pre wipe buying them relatively cheap
