Thank you for this. I met you in Dana Center while you were filming--you told me about placing the pumpkin on Wendell's grave. I was the guy whose father lived here as a young boy and whose ancestors are buried in the Quabbin Park Cemetery. Keep up the good work!
I remember speaking with you and I was hoping you got to see the video! Thanks so much for watching and your kind words. If you are still searching for photos of your family home try this link to the Quabbin collection, good luck! www.digitalcommonwealth.org/search?search_field=all_fields&q=quabbin
Back in 1979 the reservoir was very low. The water line was 60ft from the shore so it opened up so much to look at. Doing this today would never happen. We need to do a better job at water conservation and utilize technology especially out west. Nice job!
Thank you for watching! The thought behind taking all the land but not utilizing it for the reservoir itself goes back to lessons learned with miss management of other reservoirs in the eastern part of the state. They allowed folks to live near them and they soon were polluted .
So happy you found it! Great video I learned a lot
Thank you, I learned a lot while making the video! I was really happy to finally have found it.
You found it!

This was probably my favorite video so far, cant wait for the next!
Thanks for watching! New video drops tomorrow!
Love the video🔥
Thanks for watching!

Thanks for watching Mick! I agree, we need to do better and take the lessons learned from out East.
Why take the towns but not actually "use" the properties in the reservoir? What beautiful communities, homes.
