How many choices do you have in Motorcycle calculation? I only see 'Minimize distance', 'Minimize time' and "Panorama" no sign of 'Preferences' as you say and as was there in the old Gpsmap278, same to you? P.S. Hey you did a fantastic help uploading the videos about the 276cx, thank You!🙏🏻
In the Routing Setup you indeed only have three choices: "Activity", "Calculation Method" and "Lock on Road". I have the activity set to promoted, so the GPS will ask med before route calculation which set of settings I want to chose. To define those you chose e g "Automobile driving" as Activity, then some more fields pop up, one of the "Avoidance Setup". The choices you do here (also for the calculation method shortest or faster) will then be applied to Automobile Driving. Here I have included motorways and excluded unpaved roads. You can then go to another activity, like Motorcycle Driving and define a separate set of settings there. Here I am e g excluding the big boring motorways, but instead include gravel roads. Once all activities are defined, you go back and chose "Promted" as activity again. The system will ask you how you want to get the routes calculated and if I chose now an activity, it uses the settings I have defined before. ;-)

Ok 3D view is in Menu > MapSetup > Orientation > Automotive Thanks👍
