    If there was a super like button I would hit it. One stripe white belt here, we just learned the paper cutter in class yesterday, but I couldn't hit it in the roll as everyone knew it was coming...Can't wait to try this out!

    5-6 month since I started my journey into BJJ. Tried this setup last week against a blue belt and I ALMOST had him but I forgot to attack the neck and didn’t throw my leg under his shoulder properly. After my failed attempt, he crushed me lol. Thank you for the video man. Suuuuuper helpful!

    I really like that micro adjustment detail regarding hiding your grips on the shoulder (or lapel) in order to avoid telegraphing the armbar. Sneaky!
    Also, much respects to Adam (and the way he shakes his hands during the intro/outro). He really looks like a fun and knowledgeable person to train with.

    Thanks Chewie for amazing content and description. I have been applying this move for a few months now and I decided This is part of my “A game” attacks and I have been catching people with this sub left and right, even a few higher belts!I’m still a white but feel super close to getting my blue! The surprise element to this move is what I think is the best. It really catches people off guard. I’m also a 240 lb 6’3 that loves to play in Top side control. Absolutely one of my favorite moves.     Very nice move! Never seen that setup before. There is also a sneaky shoulder lock there if you sit out and hook your near leg over them. I use to do that when they defended the paper cutter, but I am definitely going to try this one out!!!

      Chewjitsu was my first BJJ chanel I subscribed to because of the mental stuff Chewie talks about . I was so scared of going to my first class , I walked passed 3 times pretending I was just walking around then I watched Chewies videos to help me over that mental hump.     I just used this today at the gym, and worked great. Took a little longer than I thought for my partner to move his arm from my right side to the left but I just kept moving to the right forcing his arm under and over.

      I'm a smaller guy (60kg) and this would happen to me alot but they're basically just giving you their arms, work on getting those armbars and they'll think twice before bench pressing you again!

    Chewy thank you so much for this. I don’t have a ton of moves but one of my go to is the paper cuter choke from that position holding the collar. I almost always get it the first time but rarely a second as they recognize it as it kinda creeps up on you. That arm bar transition is genius and I can’t wait to try it Friday! Thank you!

    Hi Chewy, I'd watched the similar moves from Silver Fox video before but it was more like 20/80 only success. Hope your extra detail works! such as pretending a neck attack which will make yourself even tighter to the opponent. I can't wait to try it out in an hour at the gym :) I'll give you my feedback for sure!

      @@Chewjitsu just came back from my gym. I've tried your arm lock 3 times during 5 x rolls today and had 1 perfect success :) I found tucking the knee in not too deep and pinching the arm with it works better. Without pinching the arm, guys go hitch-hike escape easily. Having said that, a tip with fake neck attack works very well😉 cheers as always!

    I attack the paper cutter from here often, question when you attack the paper cutter do you prefer to sprawl out flat or do you pull your partner up on their side?
    I have been working this arm bar but miss it a lot but I can see you fall back a little differently then I do so I’m gonna try that!

    I've been using this move for a few months now. A few katz now are escaping using the hitch hike escape. Usually, I let them go because I don't want raise my knee to put more pressure, I don't want to hurt my training partners. Can you address a counter to the escape? Thanks!

    I have a question about a possible technique that I came up with when thinking of different scenarios.
    If an attacker tried to take me down with a Double Leg and I sprawled it, leaving me on top, could I shift myself to the right so I can grab his left arm with my right hand, wrap my left arm under his left and grab my right wrist with my left hand, essentially keylocking his arm then pulling it upward, like a Fujiwara Armbar. Would that work or not?

    Nice. I learned that one back in the day from Jean Jacques Machado like he shows here at th-cam.com/video/Q6qUrMVABTM/w-d-xo.html @2:30
    Once you get used to it you can be in normal side without controlling the near arm. Go for Americana on the far arm and when the near arm rises snatch it. Can sometimes place your shin flush gently without setting off alarms ahead of time.

    I have watched this video 10 times and I've been trying to drill it at my gym but everytime I try this in live rolling my opponent just circles away from me as soon as I lean back for the armbar and I end up getting stuck on the bottom of side control. Can anyone offer any help for this?

    Why are we leaving the right arm free to assist the face/head and I'd like to see the possibility of the head being caught in a under arm lock preventing most of this movement or creating a possible situation where they take the top by causing a roll over
