DSTs operate a lot in lowsec, and active tank is better in low than buffer. You're not dealing with nados or thrasher gangs when traveling in low, you're more worried about gate camps. So having that powerful tank and burning back to gate is the idea.
@@zoranhome I have regularly taken DSTs through lowsec for ten years. I live in lowsec. I've stocked tens of billions worth of goods on market in lowsec. I'm pretty sure I know exactly what I'm talking about.
@@MnemonicHack I never said you don't know what you're talking about, all I'm saying is PushX or Red Frog never use DST in LS. They only allow BR's and JFs in LS. I was only talking about safe and proper way to haul.
@@zoranhome I would trust a DST over an BR any day, especially in low. The cloak+mwd method almost never fails, and when it does you have the inherent warp core stabilization plus the extra warp stabilizer module to fall back on, just in case something does decloak you. That's two scrams and a disruptor, or five disruptors, needed to lock you down. And if you're unlucky enough to jump into a fleet, you have the tank to burn back to gate if you're set up right. Of course, if they're smart enough to bracket the gate, you lose, but nothing is 100% safe. BRs are liable to get popped by tornadoes, whereas my DST has tanked two arty nados that managed to tag me before I warped to an insta-undock bookmark. When it comes to JFs, I've had what I thought was a perfect cyno spot, only to be bumped by the station when jumped. Red Frog and PushX can have whatever policies they chose, but I know what I know from a decade of hauling experience in lowsec. They may have their reasons, but I have mine as well. Using DSTs IS a proper way to haul, if you know what you're doing. I don't mean to come off hostile or anything, I'm just saying I know my stuff :)
Miasmos, not Kryos. Jaspet, veldspar, etc are ores which you get from mining a belt. Miasmos has a huge ore hold. Kryos is to haul minerals. Minerals are what you get from reprocessing ores.
I'm curious why the MWD+cloak didn't work. I always pulse the MWD just before cloaking, so maybe it was order of operations? Maybe the Bustard is just slow. Did you mess around with it and figure it out?
most likely due to the slow acceleration that DSTs have in general (about 17 seconds to warp from full stop). Even tho you get higher max speed from MWD while cloaking, the ship can't accelerate fast enough to reach the required speed for warp by the time your MWD cycle runs out and you decloak.
What happened with the giveaway, Mate?
Dang, I remember spending hours upon hours hauling. Surprisingly fun! Good times.
Mineral hold and Ore hold are not the same I made that mistake so I'm speaking from experience
The best Eve Online creator posted again? 🎉🎉🎉
Thank you Ace
Thank you man 😃😃😃😃
Thanks so much! I really enjoy your videos!
