    These intros are as late-90s as you can get: dark, brooding, pretty people, mood and/or rock music, and a zillion jump cuts. You can probably re-edit this entire video into chunks, each one second long, then splice them back together at random, and nobody would guess they came from different TV shows!

    I used to watch " The Pretender" every week followed by "Profiler". Both were very different from the norm and really good. The two shows even had crossover episodes.

    One show I can turn on the TV today or any day of the week. You pick. And I can show you that it's on that day. Star Trek Voyager is on here every night at 11 p.m.. Along with all the other Star Treks. Starting at 8 p.m. running up to 1 am. Star Trek up to Star Trek Enterprise at midnight. Good or bad? That's up to the viewer. I realize that Stargate was originally on Showtime until 2002 when it moved to the Syfy channel . I still think they should have included it as well. The BEST!

    We loved Kindred The Embraced.. I watched Charmed...wife never got into that one. I also watched Sliders alone and I LOVED that series. Liked Roswell ok. Dark Skies was fun. Star Trek Voyager was really good. I never got the hate for it. My sweet little wife had me a pizza for each Wednesday for Voyager. Id sit in the bed and eat it and watch Voyager. She passed away suddenly Jan 3 2019 a few months ago. I died with her. :( My soulmate I love you! Space Above & Beyond was my favorite show at that time. Millennium had THE best Halloween ep for a show at the time.

    I loved Kindred, Seven Days and Early Edition and kind of remembered VR 5. The first couple seasons of Angel were really good then got silly. Buffy rocked but I remember wanting Kristie Swanson to reprise the role at first. Sliders first two seasons were great then they started losing characters and just went way down hill. I remember the Visitor as a Starman knock off. Was in lust over Janeway,Kes, Seven, Sherie Appleby and Andrea Parker (legs). Space Above and Beyond was just incredible and needs to be remade. With today’s special effects it would blow the competition away

      You're welcome. I'm planning on getting a few more new videos uploaded in the coming weeks or so, but dealing with TH-cam's copyright infringement nonsense, even to this day with uploads I made years ago, kind of has taken the fun out of doing this more regularly. I keep having to explain to the infringement complainers that all these intros qualify under the fair use exemption in the way I've created the videos and about 9.7 times out of 10 they give me a pass. Still annoying and a waste of time, though. That and other things going on that have distracted me from doing these videos more often. But still, there'll be more down the road, so stay tuned, if patiently, for them.

    Man, the 90s were cool (and deliciously paranoid). Growing up then is why I still feel ripped off when I watch a show and it just lazily slaps up a title card and calls that the intro. Also, I would watch almost all of these (currently watching Roswell, in fact). Brimstone, Buffy and Angel were classics - so was American Gothic, and I'm sad it had such a lousy intro compared to most of these. Thank you for the compilation, and especially for targeting sci fi and fantasy programs.

    The first one (Hash Realms) kinda resembles X-Files.
    *Sees Chris Carter in the credits*
    Oh, so that's why. XD
    Also feels strange seeing Angel first, then Buffy afterwards, since Angel was the spin off of Buffy: The vampire slayer.
    Mercy Point was basically E.R. or Chicago Hope in space? Even the intro music is pretty similar to those.

    It does seem great shows but let’s look at voyager it had what four or five seasons. In the first season was about the first aliens they countered making them out to be like these were the big bad guys in the delta quadrant. In eventually later seasons they went with the borg as the real big bad guys. But there what did they do two seasons or more on the borg. Remember this was also running the same time as. Deep space nine and they completely didn’t even try to put a dominion storyline in. It does seem that they were just about to call it a show when they introduce the Borg. It was good entertaining. But there were so many stores they could’ve kept going instead they chose alien of the season. And nothing seem to really be resolved.

    • @steverogers8163
      @steverogers8163 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      yeah Voyager writing was really hit or miss, more miss than hit unfortunately. They really wanted a show more like OG Trek that was about exploration but stranding them on the other side of the galaxy made the show automatically darker which for whatever reason the executives did not want. So the show kept fighting its more natural storyline for its entire run. We kept getting random episodes that show what Voyager could have been if they just let it get dark. Equinox I & II, Night, Year of Hell I & II. The Borg while cool at first ended up being a giant mistake as they had been an invulnerable force of nature in TNG but by the end of Voyager they were a joke and Janeway literally tears the whole Borg empire apart in the final episode.
