Great video. I just got an airbrush and will be using mostly acrylics. Is water fine for cleaning in between colours or would distilled water be better? I do have airbrush cleaner but I was told that use that after I'm completely done painting and after using metallic paints.
I've always been hesitant to break out the airbrush, because it's just too much work. This makes me so much more likely to actually use it. One thing you can do, if you're worried about q-tip fibres, is to get the cotton swabs made by Tamiya. They're specifically designed to not shed any fibres. I use them for cleaning oil paints and applying transfers and they work great.
Or use a small paint brush that fits in the opening. That’s what use and it works very well. I just clean the brush after I’m done with paint thinner and it’s ready for the next time.
Hello my name is Marc and I’ve been airbrushing for about 5 months and I was doing a painting and I opened a new bottle of cretex detail violet and I poured it in a mixing cup the smell was so bad I thought the sewage pipe broke it smelled like sulfer and rotten opinions it was so bad it burned my throat and nose and was hospitalized and couldn’t stop throwing up ! Has this ever happened to you in your professional career? Please help me thank you so much Sincerely Marc ( aka EL’PADRE airbrushing )
not that fast... where can you get an airbrush with the cup on top made of plastic and easily removable, so that u can get a dozen of sealed interchangeable cups and keep them full of different inks, then just swap them in two seconds? or should i manufacture one and sell it lol

I just found your channel, what kind of air brush are you using? My printerr should be coming in a few weeks, I'm super excited to start printing
In this video I’m using the badge 105 patriot airbrush. That’s awesome about your printer. Best of luck with your future prints!!
Will this same method work for lacquer?
I just fill my cup with cleaner, spray it out in the spray bottle, add water, spray that through, then I’m good to go with the next color.
is it this easy for acrylic paints as well or only lacquer?
Nice
Hello I have a question
thanks! I sub'd!
Do you use tap water or distilled water..some videos say use distilled water……
What brand of airbrush do you have here?
Zooming in, it looks like a Badger 105 patriot
