Liking the new intro mate, intelligent rock intro. A bit of speed rock at the outro. I'm more of an old school rocker myself, AC/DC (Bonn Scott era of course), Motorhead, Sabbath, Deep Purple etc. You get the idea. Axiom Verge is on offer on Steam today, £3.74UK. Worth every penny.

Evercade may have tried too...but "Axiom Verge" signed with Limited Run Games.
So there is a way to get a cartridge based game of Axiom Verge, just not with EverCade at this time.
Not sure how those big business contracts work but that is what i know of Axiom Verge as that is an awesome game!

Yep. This should be on their list. I've read some comments and articles excusing Evercade basically saying they have to deal with slim pickings as companies like Nintendo and Sega won't work with them. But that's nonsense. Just looking at your suggestions alone and there's another bunch of carts and there are just so many more independent retro style games that are available and I'm sure those small companies would love to make a deal and spread their games (especially games made close to 10 years ago).

@@GameFreak1976 I purchased Axiom Verge for the Switch so I could play on my Arcade 1UP cabinet and unfortunately the game needs a right stick for weapons select and because all the other buttons are already configured, this could prove to be a problem for the Evercade controller? Still a great game but not for playing with an arcade stick unfortunately :-(
@@jayme69, they’d most likely have to do some control configuration for the Evercade. I wouldn’t think it’d be a big issue, but I’m also not a game tech genius lol. Who knows, it may be a huge pain and that’s the reason this cart hasn’t happened yet🤷🏻♂️.
@@GameFreak1976 Yes, maybe a button you press and hold whilst using the D-pad to select weapons. Just thought it was worth mentioning :-)

This game looks cool but we already have a lot of platformers on Evercade.
What I really need is one (or more) card with neo retro racing games like slipstream or super woden gp 2 😕

I'm pretty sure the hardware can't run them two games, they need a new better handheld next year, more power for modern indies with two analogues attached for say a games like terraria or Minecraft...two massive indies which would shine a light on evercade the current controller for Vs and exp impossible to play them with just a Dpad.
@@smokeymanson2191, it can definitely handle these games. My buddy has them both on his EverSd and plays them on his VS and EXP. They run super smooth. I think a cart like this would sell like hotcakes 🤘🤘🤘
@@GameFreak1976sorry I was responding to @evok993 saying he would like slipstream and superwoden GP 2 ....yea the games you was saying in your video would be cool I'm surprised they haven't tried to get these by now the modern indies 2d games on carts is a gold mine for evercade they seem really slow like wheres shovel knight ..hollow knight ...or any of the hundreds of 2d metroidvanias that come out all of the time on like every platform.
